Let’s not attribute his behavior to his age. He’s been this way all his life. What’s different is the deplorable loyalty he enjoys from ~35% of the population and nearly all the morally challenged Republicans un Congress *and* 6 members of the Supreme Court.
If the Dems don’t become the majority in either part of Congress, our country is truly doomed.
Gerald, I totally agree about Trump being like this his entire life.
Before social media, Trump would call the New York newspapers, representing himself as John Barron, bragging about what a great man Trump was. Barron needed everyone in New York City to know how rich and powerful his good friend Donald Trump was!
Now he uses TruthSocial, rather than a phone call. And instead of the alias John Barron, he decided to name his third son Barron.
Everything about Donald J Trump is a lie, and that lie has corrupted everyone who surrounds him.
I resonate with everything you say. I want to wake up one day to discover that the destruction is over and we can begin to rebuild. I don't know how much longer I can stomach the insanity.
He knows that he is losing control of whatever narrative he was trying to push forward, so all he can focus on now is the vanity projects, which is all that his demented mind can deal with.
He and his enablers deserve what retribution will shortly come for them.
Trump regularly tells voters to blame others for America’s problems — creating outrage against “them.” Stopping “them,” he asserts, will make America great again.
Unfortunately, he has led some of us to think the same way — to imagine that defeating “him,” expressing outrage toward him — somehow represents an answer to what’s wrong with America. But defeating Trump only stops us from going in the wrong direction
It won’t solve the problems he has left unsolved and the problems he has created. Yes, he brought a great majority of us together in opposing his malevolence and incompetence. But we’re no closer to uniting on solutions to the problems he has created and problems he has left unsolved.
Trump sent us backwards in his fear of the future.
long it will take to deprogram the children after all this. I hope they can understand it was a pack of lies and move on. I am sick of what trump, et al, have done to the future.

All I want is to wake up and find he no longer exists.
Thank you, Heather. Yes…
First Always Come The Lies
First always come the lies
Before the actions that follow
The lies that plant the seeds of doubt
That over time will hollow
Our trust in institutions
In things we once believed
The means by which we allow ourselves
To unwittingly be deceived
They bear the ring of truth
To those they are addressed
A simple explanation for
The cause of their distress
Once taken hold, a beachhead
New laws can next arrive
Rhetoric made policy
That infiltrates our lives
Rights are stripped away
Then normalized persecution
Of groups defined the enemy
Efficient in execution
Is the power of the state
Once it’s been given up
To the hands of a tyrant’s unbridled reins
Where enough is never enough
We’ve seen the playbook before
In Nazi Germany
When failure needed someone to blame…
Unspeakable tragedy

He is such a jerk and I absolutely despise what he is doing to our country just so he and his family can become richer!
I'm sure by now most of us are familiar with the poem written by Martin Niemoller after Hitler's reign:
"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."
