It took me back to 1974 when I arrived in Rio de Janeiro as a naive 22 year old college grad, and where I lived for the next 12 years. 1974 was the tail end of the military dictatorship that had taken over that country in 1964. I was warned not to joke or say anything about the military dictatorship. You never knew who might be listening….
