Independent journalism is the only news we all should be getting our information from. Having said that, it absolutely pisses me off that even minimally-decent Americans are so fucking apathetic about what is happening, that here we are having to read about this absolute shit show on a daily fucking basis. I quit watching corporate and mainstream media a long time ago, to save my own humanity. And while I continue to pay for independent journalism, I don’t know how much longer I can stomach reading their news reports.
The apathy bothers me too; but I wonder if people are so pressed for time and money that life’s treadmill doesn’t allow them to attend to the situation. I’m not excusing them, but maybe that’s their reason.
Boring? OK, Prez. I propose reporters, etc. stop engaging with this guy because he’s boring. Say it to his face. Double dare ya. A normal person would laugh at the absurdity and stupidity. He ain’t normal.
What kind of a message does that send to the service men and women who are in the danger zone. When Trump says he doesn't care about the economy, or doesn't care about the war, where is the outrage? Have we really gotten that numb?

The situation is getting worse. The US has a President who openly admits that he couldn't care less about the war in Iran. He acts like a child who's been given a new toy, is bored with it and then throws it out of his pram. Just what do the brave men and women who are fighting for their country make of Trump's handling of the war? They must feel terribly let down.

First, I can go back and reread to be sure I had the facts correctly. This also helps when I go to make a comment, which I often do. Second, I like to watch sports on silent and read . Doing his job? Best to define job. If you mean leader of the free world which WE and the world expected? Well he's all pomp and no circumstance. A very lackluster and disappointing performance indeed. However, if his "job" as defined was to tear up our constitution and rip our country apart, well he's following up on that job description and they've got the perfect foil.
