I'm still wrapping my head around how this fund is possible without Congressional oversight. I'm trying to understand the legal mechanism by which this happened. I know that Felon47 sued himself and before a judge could move the suit forward or not, the IRS settled. But if it was a bogus lawsuit, why is a settlement even allowed? I feel like my head is going to explode. This is so effed-up.
Only in Trump’s America could a president attempt to overturn the government, send a mob to the Capitol, gleefully watch for hours as police officers were beaten bloody with poles, bats, bear spray, and bashed with their own riot shields… and then pardon the convicted felons — and now consider rewarding them with taxpayer-funded compensation for their so-called “suffering.”

I received a comment from Richard Robbins (full disclosure…he’s my brother) who writes on Substack about debt. He reminded me that withholding taxes is “striking against ourselves.” He suggests withholding debt threatens the oligarchs who have the power and the money…money we give them through debt payments. It’s a thought. ( His post is “Mean, Stupid Money). The biggest question is how do we stop this nightmarish takeover of American society by the ultra wealthy?
Americans need to withhold their tax payments in protest of their money going to insurrectionists.
I also think we need to apply for these grants because of the stress at loosing our democracy.
