Thanks again for illuminating the widespreading damage our malignant tumor of a president is causing, and why he must be removed for any salutary effect. The worse it gets, the clearer it becomes that his removal is the only way to recovery.
George, You are right, he must be removed. He does not deserve a dignified death in office, no, he has made the country suffer too much for that. He needs a solid impeachment, trial and conviction. Then an immediate escort out to a crappy SUV to take him to Reagan Airport for a commercial flight out. Before he goes, make sure to check his pockets and his bags for any looted material from the WH.
If it gets to conviction I think everyone needs to stand up, point out Mitch McConnell and remind people that Mitch had the opportunity to prevent all of this but basically said let the Dems do it (hold him accountable) and refused to whip the votes - especially on the second impeachment, to convict. Lazy ass - nicest epithet I can use. That Mitch is YOUR legacy.

When they want to accomplish something disastrous like the recent FCC approval of the huge media merger that will remove any semblance of freedom of the press..they goad him into causing a huge firestorm like the Pearl Harbor remark that takes all of the attention and their move just slips on by. THIS is what we must fight..this is why we must do everything we can to turn the tide in November…vote them all out..we still have that ability but if we don’t act we’ll lose that too. There is a far greater power in numbers and we have them…USE THEM.

All I can say is this. It’s hard to feel sorry for a group of college athletes, no matter what their school, that chose to put themselves in a room with this man. While the rest of us are out here resisting in every way, we possibly can, short of taking up pitchforks, these guys chose to be honored by a lying, grifting, narcissistic con man. The contrast between our President's comments and those of the coach of the US Naval Academy's football team, is amazing. Those young men deserved better than being a backdrop for an extremely self absorbed and mentally failing President. We deserve better leadership than that that also. I wonder if the Naval Academy coach is available?
