It was really nice to listen instead of read. I'm a person for whom voices can sound grating or when they go on too long, I lose interest. Heather's voice is pleasant and her delivery is concise without sacrificing eloquence. I very much appreciate the note of hope she ends on.
At almost 67, I have seen and experienced a lot. I was old enough to understand that the Vietnam War was not good for our country. Later, I painfully understood that someone can be president and not be a good guy - Nixon. Following were several more atrocious leaders and failed wars. Then there was Barak Obama, who for many of us was a leader we could be proud of. Even as the world is forever changed, we will have another era that represents fairness, dignity, and peace. I'm hoping I see it in the years I have remaining.
