Trump’s most loyal supporters say he's "insane"
On Easter Sunday morning, the President of the United States posted a message threatening to destroy Iran’s power plants and bridges, using profanity and signing it “Praise be to Allah,” mocking a faith sacred to billions of people on one of the holiest days on the Christian calendar. He did not attend church. He drove to his golf course. And when the news covered his post, they had to blur the words because they were not safe for viewers to see in their entirety. Amnesty International called the threat “revolting.” International law experts confirmed that deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure violates the Geneva Conventions. And the deadlines he keeps setting tell their own story: 48 hours on Friday, moved to Monday, then Tuesday, then Tuesday at 8 PM. He is negotiating with himself and losing every round while Iran openly mocks him.
But something else happened that may matter more than anything the president said. The cracks in his own world split wide open. Marjorie Taylor Greene, once one of his most loyal defenders, posted that Trump “has gone insane,” called his administration “complicit,” and said, “This is not making America great again, this is evil.” Ty Cobb, his former White House counsel, called him “clearly insane” on national television and questioned why the cabinet hasn’t invoked the 25th Amendment. Anthony Scaramucci called for his removal. Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh posted, “25th Amendment. Now.” Democratic senators called on cabinet members to consult constitutional lawyers. The 25th Amendment was trending on social media for most of the day. The people who built their careers defending this president are now telling us he has lost control. And the country is waking up to what that means.

We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.
