Trump's leaked plan to steal the 2026 midterm elections

When a reporter asked the President directly whether he’s planning to steal the 2026 midterm elections, he didn’t deny it. He pivoted to talking about crime in Illinois. And when another reporter asked if he’s considering declaring a national emergency around the midterms, his first response wasn’t “no.” It was “who told you that?” That reaction matters because what has now been exposed is a seventeen-page draft executive order designed to hand the federal government full control over our elections. It would force every eligible voter in the country to re-register from scratch, in person, with new ID requirements, proof of citizenship, and a government-assigned PIN. It would gut mail-in voting, require notarization of every absentee ballot, ban drop boxes, mandate English-only ballots, and give private citizens access to immigration files, Social Security data, and criminal databases to challenge other people’s right to vote. And buried in Section 7 is a single sentence claiming the authority to override the Voting Rights Act, the National Voter Registration Act, and every other bedrock voting protection in this country.

This isn’t just an executive order. It’s one half of a two-pronged strategy. The other half is the Save America Act, a bill with the same restrictions that Trump pitched at a rally in Texas the very same day he claimed he’d never heard of the order. If Congress passes the bill, he gets what he wants. If they don’t, he declares an emergency and takes it anyway. The fact that they need all of this, a manufactured emergency, a seventeen-page order to override constitutional protections, and a parallel bill stalled in the Senate, just to keep Americans from voting freely tells you everything about where the real power is. It’s with us, but only if we use it.
