Trump's incoherent ramblings are spiraling out of control
Sitting behind the Resolute Desk, the President of the United States spent 44 minutes attacking the press and then signed an executive order that could severely limit Americans’ ability to vote, just months before the midterms. The order directs the Department of Homeland Security, working with the Social Security Administration, to build a federal list of citizens eligible to vote. The Postal Service would be barred from sending absentee ballots to anyone not on that list. States that refuse to comply risk losing federal funding. And the Attorney General would be directed to prosecute election officials who send ballots to voters the federal government hasn’t approved. The Constitution gives the president no role in election administration. A previous executive order attempting the same thing has already been blocked by multiple federal judges. He signed another one anyway.
The problem he claims to be solving does not exist. The Heritage Foundation’s own database, built specifically to prove widespread fraud, instead proved the opposite. In Arizona, 25 years of elections and 42 million ballots produced 36 cases. In Pennsylvania, 30 years and 100 million votes produced 39 cases. Not a single election outcome was altered. And last week, Trump himself voted by mail in a Florida special election while in-person voting was available. When asked about it, he said, “Because of the fact that I’m President of the United States.” Mail-in voting is fraud when we do it. It is fine when he does it. He doesn’t want fewer fraudulent votes. He wants fewer votes.
But the courts are still holding. A federal judge ruled that Trump’s executive order defunding NPR and PBS was unconstitutional, calling it “viewpoint discrimination and retaliation.” Another judge rejected key parts of Trump’s immunity claims for January 6th, ruling the lawsuits against him can proceed personally and striking down Pam Bondi’s attempt to shield him from liability. Within minutes of the signing, secretaries of state from Oregon, Arizona, and California announced they would see him in court. The lawsuits have already begun. And the closer we get to November, the more desperate he becomes, because he knows what happens when Americans show up to vote.

We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.

An open letter to Oregon’s Congressional Members:
I was awakened at 5:38 a.m. by a small noise. I ended up looking at my phone—the briefs on YouTube.
First, Rachel Maddow has figured out why the war is being waged. She explained the connections between the Saudis, Jared Kushner as envoy to the Middle East and the enmity between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Seems Kushner is making a couple of billion—at least asking for it. And the Saudis are calling the White House to push for more bombing. I sent out my usual three posts to Facebook, Bluesky, and Substack .
Then I watched Senator Murphy, who said what he learned in a two-hour briefing about causes of this war on Iran—mostly what it’s not: a nuclear bomb, regime change, and a few other “nots.” He was apparently left mystified about Trump’s war.
The long and short, according to Maddow—the Trump clan
Continue to enrich themselves through taxpayers and the American military. You might want to talk to the recently fired General who headed the Army.
But, when I went back to listen again to Maddow’s brief reporting, it stopped less than a minute in. I checked several times. I suppose the posts I made were similarly shut down. That’s the best proof Rachel is correct in the reason our military is about to take Iran’s oil island. Saudi Arabia is hiring, and Trump is selling our military as mercenaries. Possibly starting WW III.
Please stop Trump’s insanity. He is not a human. Of the three levels of humans on the planet—according to Gnostic Christian teachings I’ve been listening to on YouTube, Trump is a Hillix—an incarnated Archon that feeds off of human fears, anger, and hate—incapable of good. Apparently, Jesus taught the Gnostic Cosmology as well as his message of love.
Best,
Terry Barber
🔷 Remember Civil Rights activist John Lewis’ admonition to cause “Good Trouble” to save this country?
🔷 Rep. Lewis did not devote his life to Equal Voting Rights for ALL — so that a White Supremacist President could erase it with a damned Sharpie.
