Trump put a FOX NEWS host in charge of the US Military
Who is Pete Hegseth?
The Secretary of Defense walked into the Pentagon Press Briefing Room and delivered one of the most disturbing statements to ever come from the head of the U.S. military. He bragged about raining “death and destruction from the sky all day long.” He declared the Iranian regime was “toast.” He smiled and said we were “punching them while they’re down.” And then he closed his remarks with a Bible verse. This was hours after standing at Dover Air Force Base for the dignified transfer of another American service member killed in this war. This is the man now in charge of the most powerful military on earth.
And behind the performance, the damage is real. 140 service members have been injured in just ten days of fighting, eight of them severely. Before this war even started, Hegseth gutted the Pentagon office responsible for investigating civilian casualties, slashing more than 200 staff by 90 percent. He removed the mechanism for investigating strikes like the one that hit a girls’ school in Iran before the first bomb was ever dropped.

I’ll now be sharing video versions of my nightly posts in addition to the written ones. We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better chance we have to push back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.
Thank you for your continued support. Your paid subscriptions have enabled me to add a video editor and get the message out to more people.
Independent journalism is under attack. You can make a difference with a $5/month paid subscription. Your support allows me to keep telling the truth about the lies and destruction unfolding in our country, defend myself from constant pressure from MAGA extremists, and ultimately spread the message to more people.
I’m fighting to save our country (before it’s too late).
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Heather

Donald does not want to be shown up by anyone around him. He would never pick anyone competent and risk being made to look like he doesn't know what he's doing. This is the best he can do to prevent that from happening - loyalty, number one, which means being willing to take a fall for the boss - and incompetency, number two. Or less competent than the boss. It's a circus.
Very well done. Keep up the good work. I've just taken something out of my monthly budget to upgrade to a paid subscription.
