He thinks it's all a big game made for a Hollywood screen. A cruel, narcissist, unfeeling blob that cares nothing for death and destruction that he causes.
With thanks for your clarity, "The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better chance we have to push back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms." This is important! And not just in consideration of the midterms, but for every day.
So is dialogue about what to do, and we aren't steeped in that. You are one of the people I haven't heard from who's invited, in this Open Letter, to talk about that. Your readers, if they are collapse-aware, can participate, too.
I wish I didn’t feel this way, but I’m thinking that the only way to get him hobbled is for the economy to really tank in the next 7 months leading up to the election so that people who haven’t voted for most of their adult life turn out to remove the Trumply Wobblies from Congress. I don’t want to see more people hurt, but not enough voters listened last time when he loudly proclaimed, “Vote for me and you’ll never have to vote again.” He’s always told us who he was!
I don’t understand why Democrats and Congress aren’t using their PAC money and why the wealthy donors to Democrats aren’t using their power and money to have a more coordinated fight towards this administration. Is it because the wealthy will fare just fine either way and they’re just not willing to get their hands dirty or invest in saving democracy? Unless we strike and withhold our wallets, do we really have any power under this administration, without a working, Congress? I realize this can’t be done without a safety net for the poor middle class and the working poor, but short of Civil War, withholding our wallets and refusing services and work, seems to be the only option available and could work, but it needs a good network of coordination and funding. I am not as optimistic as you because I don’t really believe our votes will count, if we even get to vote at all.

Excellent Heather!
