Trump is lashing out and it's getting ugly
Standing on the South Lawn of the White House before leaving for China, the President of the United States was asked if Americans’ financial suffering motivates him to make a deal on Iran. His answer: “Not even a little bit. I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing. We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That’s all.” He wasn’t tricked into saying it. He wasn’t caught off guard. He was asked a straightforward question and told the truth for once. He does not care. He then called a female reporter “a stupid person” for asking about inflation, called another reporter “you dumb person” for asking about the ballroom, and attacked a third for pressing him on his answer. Three journalists insulted in a single press conference for doing their jobs.
And then came the threats. When asked whether he would send the National Guard or ICE to voting locations during the midterm elections, he said, “I’d do anything necessary to make sure we have honest elections.” The reporter asked if he was ruling it out. He smiled. When asked about the redistricting battles stripping Black and Latino voters of representation, he called it “a wonderful process” and said, “it looks like we’re going to pick up a lot of seats. And that’s a good thing.” He is telling us he sees the suppression of Black political representation as a strategic win, while simultaneously refusing to rule out armed federal agents at polling places.
But his own base is starting to crack in ways he cannot control. Nearly 600,000 people paid $100 deposits for the Trump Mobile phone his sons announced last June. Not a single phone has shipped. The terms were quietly rewritten to say a deposit “does not guarantee that a device will be produced.” Refunds are being denied. Across MAGA forums, supporters are turning. This is what Trump has always done: take money from people who trust him and rewrite the fine print when it’s time to deliver. And today he told those same people, on camera, that he doesn’t think about them. Not even a little bit. He handed us every piece of evidence we need. Now it is on us to make sure every voter in every swing district hears it before November.

We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.

I’m fighting to save our country (before it’s too late).
I’ll see you tomorrow,

Let’s hope he loses more support from his base before he turns them on what is left of this country.
What should we expect from someone who always kept a copy of Mein Kampf on his nightstand.
I’ll never understand why elected Republicans accept and enable this behavior. Some day their descendants will cringe when the history is written.
