Trump Has Turned Against The Country He Claims To Love

Trump attacked 27-year-old American Olympic skier Hunter Hess on social media, calling him a “loser” after Hess expressed his views on the current state of our country. Instead of rallying behind American athletes representing our us on the world stage, Trump chose to target a young adult for speaking his mind. The incident reveals how far removed Trump’s version of patriotism has become from actually supporting Americans.

Meanwhile, the Super Bowl halftime show became an unexpected moment of cultural resistance. Bad Bunny’s performance, along with those of artists like Brandi Carlile and Green Day, demonstrated that patriotism is not about blind loyalty to power but about standing up for the values that make America worth fighting for.
