And when he finally reached the podium and looked out at the room filled with Black leaders, honorees, and invited guests gathered to recognize a century of history, resilience, and sacrifice, he launched into a rambling speech, making the entire event about himself. Trump has been disgracing America since his inauguration and has broken our trust, our democracy and our freedoms since day one of his inauguration. He is evil, disgusting, immoral and worst of all a sexual pervert. Everyone knows it, but the wealthy are supporting and encouraging him because money is more important to them than democracy!
Who is he going after when he's deported all the undocumented immigrants? He's already said he wants to denaturalize citizens and deport them.
But really, deporting people is so labor intensive and takes so long. No, I think his next target is old people. Cut back on their healthcare, cut back on supplemental nutrition. Don't release a new flu shot, don't even allow research into an mRNA flu vaccine. Hint that covid vaccines might not be recommended (and hence, not covered by insurance). I'm waiting for all vaccines to be cancelled. Then we watch the very young and the very old die. Because we're of no use to them.
I'm sure that after his first term we thought we could grit our teeth and get through the second, but now I'm not so sure. We need to push back on every illegal, unconstitutional, inhumane thing he tries to do, or people will die. We've got to regain the majority at least in the House, but preferably the Senate, too, to derail his agenda. People's lives depend on it!
I don't even care about regaining our standing in the world. If the world was willing to turn their backs on every decent thing the U.S. ever did after one year of Trump, then to heck with them. Who needs fair weather friends, summer soldiers, and sunshine patriots? I just want to keep our people alive until he's gone and someone sane is in charge again. And then keep it that way.

See, everyone seems to think “getting him out” is like swatting a fly buzzing around in the house. It's most definitely not.
Our Supreme Court, in a fit of insanity, granted presidents immunity from prosecution for just about everything related to official duties. He can't, in other words, just be arrested for extortion or bribery.
He could be impeached for things like that, but his party (Republicans) hold majorities in both chambers of Congress. We might be able to get a bill of impeachment passed in the House, but there is no way we'd get 67 votes to convict in the Senate.
He could be removed for incapacity under the 24th amendment, but that takes a vote from his Cabinet (sycophants, all) or another impossible to obtain 2/3 vote in Congress.
That leaves resignation (that will never happen), or violent overthrow of the government, which is HIGHLY illegal, and which would make us no better than him. Besides, they keep telling us the U.S. has the most lethal army in the world. How long do you think an untrained, poorly equipped citizen rebellion would stand against that? I'd give it about 5 minutes, tops.
What we have to count on is voting him out, but the next election is in November of this year, and the felon is not on the ballot. IF we can take back Congress, we can greatly slow his agenda, maybe even stop it. We can't “get rid of him” (vote him out) until November of 2028.
BUT he has been devoting himself lately to devising ways to cheat in the elections: reduce the number of Democrats voting by adding more requirements, gerrymandering districts, purging voter rolls. There is talk of armed ICE agents at polling places to intimidate voters, and seizing ballot boxes and proclaiming his victory.

Especially when, in addition to dealing with the felon and his daily outrageous acts, we hear and read comments by our former allies implying that ALL Americans are responsible for this insanity! Do you seriously think we are unaffected by this in the U.K.? We have a senior politician being investigated and his homes searched for evidence which could potentially have the Prime Minister resign and the government de-stabilised
And today ex Prince Andrew was arrested - basically for treason- unheard of and there are calls to abolish the monarchy -believe me we have it in spades

The forefather's of this country wrote into place the guidelines for a great nation. If followed, those guidelines which has helped this country to become the great nation it has become, will continue the country on the path of even more greatness. When these guidelines are ignored and other methods are devised by those less wise, we run the risk of reversal of gains. We MUST pray for the USA. God is still on the throne and He hears and answer prayers. He freed the children of Israel because they prayed.
