At Trump’s inaugural Board of Peace summit, what unfolded was not diplomacy but a rambling, incoherent performance. He used the podium to threaten to fire Rubio for being too competent, publicly rein in Vance, endorse Hungary’s Orbán for reelection, and brag about real estate. The guest list told its own story: authoritarian leaders filled the seats, while France, Germany, the UK, and nearly every major democratic ally declined to attend or sent only observers. Then, on Air Force One, he was asked whether Epstein associates would face justice and spiraled into a panicked, incoherent answer before declaring himself “totally exonerated.”

But the world pushed back in ways that matter. Former Prince Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office tied to emails showing he forwarded confidential government reports to Jeffrey Epstein. Every investigation into the Epstein trafficking ring forces more into the light.
