While the men surrounding him struggled to explain what Trump had signed, and why it was legal, Donald Trump sat in his chair, leaning onto the Resolute Desk, with his left hand covering his right from the camera’s view, struggling to stay awake through the short 20-minute event. By the time the president was done talking and the press was being rushed out of the room, there was no question that Donald Trump believes he is above the Constitution and the truth.

They do not understand. My youngest son does not understand. He lives with his right wing, angry father who spews hate every day. Mind you, this used to be my fun loving hippy child from the 90's who loved everyone, followed his dream of living in Colorado, and left to care for his father five years ago in Michigan. His hate for the left is the same now as his father's. Our conversations, because I refuse to give up on him and try to stay in touch, evolve into dead space, with neither of us willing to budge on the issues. He says he doesn't consider himself MAGA, but still believes in the rhetoric. It it so sad to see what he has become. I feel the only saving grace will be that "he'll find his way home" when his father passes. I'll be waiting for him.

Here’s some good news — Tennessee GOP Rep. Andy Ogles was ousted by a Republican challenger on Thursday. Yep it’s a blow to the Felon and an added bonus to a Mike Johnson who also tried to boost his campaign in the final days. Because of that forced redrawn districting after the SCOTUS decision that forced Ogles to reach out to new voters. Guess they just didn’t like the guy. Ogles is a troll. Here’s just a few highlights for Ogles: he posted a highly homophobic social media post that was denounced by his own party and he ended up begrudgingly deleting it. In June, he said, "Muslims don't belong in American society." In 2024, the FBI searched Ogles' phone during an investigation into campaign finance records, which came after a watchdog group filed an ethics complaint into his use of campaign funds. And in 2023, he faced scrutiny for false claims about his resume. Actually he made George Santos look like a choir boy with even his lies… There’s more but think you get the gist.. So that’s two down that the Felon endorsed, small wins.. Guess that hurried gerrymandering just didn’t turn out in Tennessee…

Most states have their own website that lets you check your status, or there are a number of sites like vote.org that let you check directly.
So folks please check to ensure you have not been purged. Less than three months… It’s going to get rougher so hold on, he knows he’s going to get kicked out and possibly impeachment is right around the corner… or at least jail… make your plan and Vote..

I'm no lawyer, but I'd think any American citizen has standing to sue the government for the endless frivolous litigation that ties up the legal system, wastes our tax dollars, and, as Heather points out, drains energy that could be better spent tackling real problems.
