Very early Saturday morning, at 1:06 AM, before his ill-fated vacation to Camp David was cut short later that day, Donald Trump posted an ominous and deeply troubling video that few people even saw. Filled with fear-filled messaging, it opens with a dark and eerie image of the White House before quickly moving to Donald Trump rising from the shadows just as the narrator says, “Sometimes in history, there’s this magic moment. Somebody appears on the scene and everything changes.”
From there, the video immediately pushes to show Trump’s political rise as a biblical calling and a divine destiny. “This was a man who’s met his destiny. He said he was saved by God in order to make America great again.”

Trump has a degenerate disease and in any other world he would be being cared for and looked after. Instead the bully that he is, he is manipulating everyone around him and being allowed to plummet USA into chaos.

Donald Trump reveals his character by the dishonesty of his words and the cruelty of his actions. When you have shared the emotional intimacy that is within your family, it makes me wonder, by contrast, how Melania must truly feel - as a woman who is married to this man.
Their mutual absence from each other speaks volumes of how a marriage should not be. The eyes are truly the windows to the soul - to our most inner thoughts and feelings.
We can see - and feel - the authenticity of another when they spontaneously share true emotions. Coupled with the intonations of their voice and their behaviors we know who a person is and the truth of who they are.
One does not need to be a professional therapist to know these things - they are well within the scope of normal, human relationships.
Trump has consistently shown he is not one to be trusted, and it truly is terrifying that he is entrusted with the safety and security of America and the World.
And when he rants and raves like a madman about obliterating an entire country and wiping out its citizens, we are frozen with fear - yet how must the Iranian people feel?
So, on the most human of levels, how does Donald Trump actually feel? We can only infer from his actions - and he is showing everyone that he is growing more and more desperate as he is losing control of so many areas of his life: His policies, his political career, his marriage, events in the Middle East, and he is losing control over who to blame for the troubles he is causing.
The majority of Republicans have squandered their opportunities to rein him in, his family is impotent, as are his military and political advisers - no one is capable of advising a person who places himself into being as a God.
And he is showing the World through his imagery - as you’ve so aptly described, Heather - and we are faced with a modern day version of Nero - who instead of playing the fiddle, he golfs by himself - while the World Order is collapsing…

It happens that I was a private in the U.S. Army at Ft. Carson CO at the time President Kennedy addressed the nation about the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962,Along with a few others, I watched the Presidents speech on the Mess Sergeants small TV in his room at the barracks. Perhaps 15 miles away was Cheyenne Mountain, perhaps one of the main presumed strategic targets for any Soviet Missile Strike. I read about the speech the next day in the Rocky Mountain News. I was very much aware of the implications. Less than a year before I was simply a senior completing college. I had volunteered for the Draft, mostly just to get the military obligation piece out of the way.
I was just one young person in harms way. The mood of the country was very serious. The crisis was near over, but we didn't know that.
I still have a copy of the articles in the Rocky Mountain News of the following day....
I was only seven during the Cuban Missile Crisis but I vividly remember the small black and white TV in the kitchen with the news on. The tone in the house was VERY somber and VERY serious as it played out. I remember it was the first time I witnessed my parents looking scared. It is a lasting memory I will always carry.
We were lucky, I felt, even at that young age looking back on it, that my parents always kept my older sister and I informed about what was happening in the country. It has fueled my intense interest and motivation to seek the truth. I am so happy to have found Substack and Independent media to keep me informed.
I was in college at the time also, and we were all frightened, especially the men who were concerned about being drafted. You must have felt petrified, being in the middle of it in the Army.

I think sometimes this is what the Stephen Millers, Mike Johnsons, Elon Musks, Steve Bannons and the other oligarchs want. He is listening to them. They whisper in his ear and give him permission.
His late night phone calls of, "What do you think I should do?" are well known and documented. When he is dead and gone, we still have them to deal with. All these people continue to work behind the scenes, as it were.

The foundations of anything is built from the ground up. The only news of rumps beginnings that I know of is his dodging his responsibilities to support the country during Vietnam. At that time, there was a draft. People were conscripted into the armed forces. Every young man was given a number and then called when their number came up. And when he got his number called, he hid behind daddy’s money. He built that foundation himself and thusly, he seems to have lived his life.
