I don’t believe trumps posts are being entirely written by him. He is either dictating them or someone is editing them. For someone who can barely string two sane words together his posts are too composed.

Guys please get up and fight for your fellow citizens. Please remember what happened in WW2, putting people in wire cages and not feeding them or allowing medical care is abuse on the largest scale and would lead to investigation from care agencies.

I feel so helpless reading and being powerless to help.

Maybe he dictates his rants, and one or another of his family members "posts" them. But the childish language and capitalizations?? Sure seems like a young grandchild, up with Grandpa in the middle of the night.....

HI Heather,

The thing about sycophants, or sickophants in this case, is they are generally not very intelligent. Following orders does not require it. But under scrutiny, cross examination, they invariably fuck up. Toeing the line…but not realising there is nothing on the end to tow. Spam Blondie was a case in point this week. “The greatest President in history”….sitting binge watching TV. The sinister elements are generally behind the scenes. The Stephen Miller’s and the Peter Thiel’s of this world never face examination. They do not answer to anyone. Personally, I think their agendas and impact require that they do, in fact, get put in the fucking hot seat!!!!

Thanks Heather. I will use this information about the Kushner cover up in my daily call and email to my rethug maggot congress critter. And thanks for reminding me to comb through my spending to make sure my dollars aren't supporting any of this rotted system.

Heather, you are the only pundit that I’m aware of who repeatedly and consistently focuses on this theme. It’s another huge story which is being ignored by most.

Remember the famous exchange between Hillary Clinton and Trump during one of their debates? “I’m not a puppet, you’re the puppet”. Now we know who’s the biggest puppet of them all.

With respect to all the detention centers Trump and his cronies are trying to buy tells you that there is far more to the round up of the “worst of the worst”. We don’t have that many criminals in the US to necessitate so many centers. So the question is, what is on the horizon? Regarding treatment of all the people in these centers who are not criminals, it’s deplorable from the stories coming out. Does the Geneva Convention and their 4th update apply here? It talks about humanity. There is nothing humane going on in these centers. Can the Red Cross go into every one of these centers and see what exactly is going on? If they find the deplorable conditions we have heard about then someone needs to be held accountable and locked up in the worst of these centers. The visits would have to be done with no outside notice given so Trump and his gang couldn’t suddenly spruce them up and then threaten the detainees about speaking up about the sudden change. I think the detainees are being threatened now to stay quiet regarding how bad things are. Let us pray for all of those people who should not be there, ex: the Irishman, married to an American, no crime, maybe a Visa issue in the past but is here on a work permit. He has been locked up for 5 months. He doesn’t fit the profile of someone who should have been scooped up in the raids. It’s all about the daily quotas.

How is selling $500 million in Liberty crypto to the sheikh of the UAE days before the inauguration, where Trump and Whitkoff profited in millions, and then selling high security computer chips to the UAE, against all national security advice, not an impeachable offense?

Excellent post Heather - very insightful and very spot on. The power meisters hiding in the dark (Thiel is a good example) have mastered the art of shining Trump and his circus brand directly in our faces as a spotlight that demands our attention and wastes our energy - - - the perfect distraction.

I remember a few months ago, you mentioned that there may be someone in congress waiting in the wings, preparing to step forward and do the "right thing." But it seems clear now that will not happen - and I agree.

We the people must use our collective power if we're going to save our country from the quicksand of oligarchy we're about to slide into. The only actions that will penetrate the dark and reach the power brokers are economic sanctions. We may not have a lot of money or power individually but collectively - - - targeted, sustained effort can reach them.

Robert Reich and Scott Galloway both posted recently about specific actions they are taking - cancelling media and app subscriptions, like you reviewing your finances -we should ALL be sure our hard-earned dollars are NOT supporting the corporations that hide in the dark. We don't even know most of their brand names - there are tech bros and corporations that are already poised to rake in billions from the looming explosion of ICE warehouses - it's never been about ridding our country of "criminals" (Trump Brand distraction) - it's the 2026 iteration of a massive for-profit prison system that was started by Reagan's War on Drugs in the 1980s

We CAN make a difference - It worked to bring back Jimmy Kimmel - - but we must organize and work together - read Scott Galloway's "Resist and Unsubscribe" as a starting place - Let's do this!

Yes, I agree that the worst people in America are running the country. tRump is a puppet, a willing puppet, but a puppet nevertheless. I imagine he spends most of his waking life drugged to the gills. Congress is doing nothing and our Democratic leaders in Congress seem to be unaware. I am trying desperately to sound the alarm and maintain hope.

Wonderful Post, great attitude! I'm an 84-year-old who is "in a rage nearly all of the time" over the Trump administration's evil, sadistic, nihilistic antics. I'm "screen-shotting" your Post to re-read.
