Just before 6:30 Central Time tonight, Donald Trump emerged from the parting curtains as "God Bless the USA" blasted from the speakers. In his hand, and up his entire arm, were red-and-white Make America Great Again hats that he stopped to throw at the audience on his way to the podium. Once there, he spoke for an hour and forty-five minutes, repeating the same stories he has been saying for weeks to distract us from the damning news stories that were just released.
He focused on important matters like telling the audience at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, in Texas, "I don't like handsome young men." When he heard a sound outside the building while he was talking, he stopped mid-word and asked, "Could that be Iran dropping something? Did you hear that? A lot of noise going on,” before telling the people in the audience that although everything is more expensive, we are in another never-ending war, and masked men are grabbing people off of our streets; he told them, “We are right now in the golden age of America. This is the golden age."
My day always starts with reading your post which arrives earlier due to time difference in UK. You have done Sterling work over these past months keeping us all up to date and informed.
I shall never ever understand how Trump has got away with the violence and horror he has inflicted on USA without any pushback from his own party. Are they all villains?
Do they have families and children? Can they honestly ( I use the word advisedly) say they are proud and happy with what America is becoming under Trump ? Is it money that leads them or the power of office or are they like Elon Musk drunk on the heady gas of never looking below the parapet at the little people ?
Well here is my battle cry - rise up and vote people and get rid of these nasty vicious despicable money laundering criminals, so you can fill your jails with them and get rid of the concentration camps run by thugs.

In our previous home (41 years in Newton MA) hundreds gather EVERY Saturday in protest and solidarity.
We must overcome and change course. And do the hard work of rebuilding community and institutional strength after that.
I am following what happens in your country from Sweden. It’s really amazing how one man like Donald J Dumb can make so many bad decisions in his life. Also glad to see that the Epstein-issue is not forgotten. Keep up the pressure, he is gonna fall sooner or later. Go to the polls and vote on November 3rd and after that you just keep going until you have straightened up your country and get rid of that Hitler-wannabe administration. Our group of three drivers yesterday took 62 seniors to their voting location yesterday.. there is a strict rule when we take them back and forth no discussion about who anyone voted for it’s their personal information just as much as their own social security number… we even made signs that we attach to the back seats for all to see, like a cab drivers requests to leave the back seat of the cab free from litter as one in the group said.. lolol
Frequently the seniors who live in these residences will ask if we will stop off at a doughnut shop or go through some drive through that they’ve not had for awhile. So as drivers we ask when we come back and pick them up if they would like to stop at a particular place. The sheer joy in the faces of people who are exercising their voices in voting who for years have done so, just to stop at a doughnut place brings delight.. so many were afraid about their mail in ballots not being counted that they’ve done for years, so many were afraid in just voting who are well into their eighties and nineties.. that some as one said “goons” would be at the locations… it’s just not the seniors that have expressed this emotion it’s fairly common in the discussions that take place and all that we’ve driven have expressed their thanks for helping them whether it be just watching their children as they go in and vote, to the financial help of saving them the expense of gas to get to drop their ballots off at locations that have moved farther away.
There’s another laminated sign that we all place in our vehicles..
“THE VOTE IS PRECIOUS, IT IS ALMOST SACRED. IT IS THE MOST POWERFUL NON VIOLENT TOOL WE HAVE IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY. AND WE HAVE TO USE IT.” — JOHN LEWIS
Vote early if at all possible, lines are already appearing and there is a wait, but the poll workers are doing their jobs quickly and efficiently…take your mail in ballots off to a drop box.. ask a friend if they have voted and when you go ask them if they haven’t would they like to as well when you go… be safe, healthy and hydrate it’s just the beginning..

They are ICE goons who are overarmed and undertrained and unsupervised who grab people off the street and assault people and do not bother to ascertain whether they are citizens or whether they are here legally or if they are the “worst of the worst” because it was never about the worst of the worst. It is about quotas and stoking fear and they do not give a rat’s rear about consequences to families or to schools or to health care or to factories and fields and restaurants and construction sites or simple human decency. And that is just as Trump wants it.
