Donald Trump spent Christmas Eve doing what no president should: turning a holiday meant for peace and unity into a platform for conspiracy and self-promotion. From warning kids about a “bad Santa” while answering NORAD calls, to pushing coal as a Christmas gift, to falsely claiming he won Pennsylvania three times, even his calls with children were filled with lies and propaganda. Then, as Americans gathered with family, the DOJ quietly dropped news that over one million new Epstein-related documents had been found, missing a legally required release deadline. Survivors are outraged, senators are demanding answers. And yet, steady acts of love and resistance are still happening across the country.
Thank you for another thoughtful letter! I have a very limited time left on this Earth, but I still hope and pray that the America that I grew up in ( one of the most inclusive countries in the world) will survive will flourish once again when Americans realize that BIG CORPORATIONS AND MONEY can’t continue to reign supreme. The people must rule and look back to our beginnings when we declared independence from a King!
Thank you so much for this entry. I feel pretty safe in the smallest state of Australia. But I understand that others , even here in our wonderful country, may not feel the same. I am thinking particularly about those injured, or killed, whose Christmas has been destroyed by 2 men, people from foreign countries. Those who never understood how proud we are of our home…………
