At 12:56 this afternoon, the President of the United States walked out of the White House with a look of deep concern on his face and went directly to the reporters who had lined up to ask him questions about Ukraine and his troubled new press secretary. He looked at them and immediately made a 180-degree turn while he pointed away from them, and said, “So that's one of the largest cranes anywhere in the world, brand new. And that's lifting the beams up. And the beams are about record setting in size because it has to be a span with no column. If you look at the counterweights in the back, you'll not find a bigger, more impressive piece of equipment than that one right there.”
He then paused so long it became uncomfortable and then said, “It's one of the biggest, they call it a steel lifter. It lifts the biggest steel and that's as big as it gets. That's something, huh? Pretty good, right?” The press looked around, confused, not sure what he was saying or why.
He once again took a long pause before eventually saying, “Okay,” with a sort of sigh. The journalists didn’t skip a beat and instantly asked Donald Trump, “Why did you guys slow down Starlink or the StarShield for Ukraine?” His response came just as fast: “We didn’t do that at all. In fact, I don’t know where it is. I don’t even think it was slowed down.”
Please get rid of this evil man and find proper support for Ukraine.
They have been so brave and Putin is so evil. He is literally allowing his own people to be slaughtered so he can prove how strong he is in his determination to bring Ukraine to heel.
Thank god for President Zelensky probably the bravest man on earth at the moment not least he is standing up to Trump, whose entire cohort are allowing USA to cosy up to a vile dictatorship.
This latest cancelling of sanctions is disgusting.

Congress should be back in Emergency Session to get their priorities straightened out before more damage is done!
If there were any brave remaining among the Republican Elected and Appointed Class (even those standing for election) they would start impeachment and removal proceedings of the entire Republican chain of command and then argue to be left in office to to be allowed to correct their horrible mistakes.

I have commented, perhaps on yours, that Putin has something on Trump. Something so damaging that it would cause Trump's own family to denounce him. My choice is films of Trump and Russian prostitutes. Now I think, that rather just cavorting, in a moment of wildness, Trump killed one of the women. Putin has the films. Trump will not do/say anything that would get Putin to release them to the press.
I'm grateful that you didn't let his party off the hook, suggesting that "We send the Trump sympathizers in Congress packing..." In some ways, I blame this gaggle of wimps for not stopping Trump's behavior. Not admitting that Trump has damaged each and every one of them as if they were rookies like Katie Zacharia. Could they all be that demented, frightened, or checked out?
You'll be pleased that I have already voted. I posted a photograph of my dog Doris with the card announcing my action. She was not smiling; more like warning. As of today, 130 Facebook friends have liked/loved the image. The idea that if every eligible vote rrepeated my action, we could signal that Trump and his gang are on their way out. I always preffered their destination to be jail, or for Trump himself, an asylum. But now I'm settling on Russia. I bet Putin could get them a bargain on housing.

Even news of colossal bribery and corruption wouldn’t faze them. After all, the allegation that he raped a 13-year old girl who bit him and was punched by him was news for only a few days m then forgotten.

That was an interesting comment you make about how ordinary Germans reacted to Hitler's rule. I can quite understand how most of them kept a low profile because by speaking out endangered their lives. Even Eva Braun's father, who was a teacher, had to join the Nazi Party, against his better judgement.
tRump followers make me think they have no common sense. That there is no reasoning that powers their actions. That they just drool at his every word and movement, like Pavlov’s dog 🐶. Recently I saw on tv one of his gatherings. He wasn’t making any sense, just gesturing every which way and lying through his teeth 🦷, but everyone behind him in the video would smile laugh and clap like they were giddy and surprised and enjoying the spectacle without much thought. Just there to relieve their hate through his meandering and incoherent inflated and hollow rhetoric.

We are all seriously imperiled by this failed presidency in so many ways.
Several Bulgarian ships have been sunk recently in Nato waters. This is even more serious than the throttled Starlink betrayal of Ukraine.
Our missile inventory is so low now that some question if we can even defend the Homeland.
