At 3:54 pm Donald Trump emerged from the White House with freshly colored hair and makeup, as Marine One's engine roared in the background. He walked directly over to the waiting press, threw his hands out in front of him, gesturing at the empty ground in front of him, while he squeezed his legs together and arched his torso forward, yelling to the reporters, "This is the way the White House is supposed to look. Not asphalt. Broken, dirty asphalt. Look at it.” He then paused, frowning as he looked over his left shoulder, and continued, “The finest stone you could buy anywhere in the world.”
The gathered press said nothing, confused by his odd behavior. The President then took three steps forward and appeared to remember why he had come outside in the first place. “Okay. So, I'm heading to Alabama, a place that I won all three times. Record votes, like Texas, like Oklahoma, like a lot of them. And we're going to give a little speech, and I hope they like it."
He is obviously unwell and his sycophants will continue to prop him up. They are too frightened of losing their cushy jobs and opportunities for corruption to acknowledge what we all see.
Tom, here in red SW Florida, I got my ballot last Saturday, turned it in on Monday, and learned yesterday my signature on the outside envelope was approved for counting. So I'm almost there! We encourage voters to vote early before shenanigans can get going. So that's what I did myself.
I got my ballot in Broward. I am filling it out this weekend and will be taking it to the secure Dropbox at my early voting location on the first day of early voting.
Heather, I moved this line up from the closing lines of your Substack to the top because I believe it is monumental: “Then came the most unconscionable part: “I feel badly for whoever she’s looking at because they won’t get a fair shake.”
The President of the United States’s heart bleeds for privileged young men who believed that it would be fun for their fraternity brothers to team up and “gang rape” an innocent woman.
I put the offense in quote marks, not for importance, but for clarity. So monstrous, so chicken hearted, so inhuman, that they would need buddies to confirm, “just fun, nothing more serious."
Now on to our own rapist-in-chief, who is deteriorating so quickly, there will be nothing left of his once-bloated body. Just a mixture of fat, diseased brain, and depleted heart that will all be puddling at the feet of members of his party.
I am offended that you would want to take away “any joy or pleasure” of Trump’s departure to Hell. (What? You would think elsewhere?)
By now, it’s either him or us. Trump can’t imagine the revelry that will erupt when he’s gone: Jailed or Last breaths.
You suggest that we’d prefer seeing Trump “as the first President removed from office.” That would be lovely, but if his brain-and heartless body decides it has had enough, he can skip the removal part and go straight to hell. Shorter trip. Plenty of pals already there to welcome him.
“The country belongs to those who love it” and “the country belongs to us.” Well said! Heather. To use our collective strength and love of people to overturn this president’s enablers who keep him in office. That is, Overturn the Republican Congress. Trump’s handlers keep him in power. Time to switch who’s in charge. Trump’s presence in the White House is such a poison.

In some states, Mail in ballots are showing up in mail boxes. The voting has begun.

I took my ballot in Pennsylvania to the county Dropbox as well.
Every election this century has been enormously consequential. Does this denote a nation in continual crisis?
Put a fork in him.
