At 8:09 PM tonight, the President of the United States walked onto the stage at the first-ever Republican midterm convention and slowly made his way over to the podium, stopping along the way to catch his breath and soak in screams of “I love you” from women in the audience. Once at the podium, Donald Trump launched into an hour-and-47-minute speech unlike any ever given by a president of the United States in the 250-year history of our country.
By the end of the night, through slurred speech and fumbled words, Donald Trump would make one of the most shocking promises ever delivered by a sitting president, especially on the eve of an American election. Standing on that stage, with the cameras rolling, the President of the United States looked into the audience and made what many are viewing as a bribe to the American people to control who they vote for, when he promised that if Republicans win control of Congress, every adult American gets $5,000.
He probably got it backwards. Most likely, he'd find a way to STEAL $5,000 from every adult American and stuff it down his pants. And BTW, IMHO, any woman who still screams, "I love you" at him is as demented as he is.
After all the federal ‘cost cutting’ measures that are attached to the Big Beautiful Bill go into effect after the midterms, he will be stealing from most Americans. His wonderful economy already is!
Five grand to each person who votes for Trump? Donald, answer me one question. Is the money coming from your own pocket (doubtful) or out of taxpayers' pockets? Quite apart from bribery being illegal it's just more of the orange Hitler's word salad.
Yes, it’s imperative that the Votes are in numbers we’ve never seen before. Yes, many people in desperate situations $5,000 seems like a lot, but nothing is more important than to check this outrageous and lawlessness we are witnessing with the occupants, all of them, in our White House today. The stakes are far too high. Who among us believe anyone will receive $5,000? Certainly an illegal act, just as illegal as this war we have lost. How we stop them, stop him, is the sacred right of our Vote. Truth matters, every vote matters, the stakes couldn’t be higher. House and Senate. Vote 💙.
Nothing that comes out of trump’s mouth surprises me anymore. That’s not to say that it doesn’t disgust me. He is & always has been an a very real threat to our democracy, not just an existential one. However, as you have pointed out, even among Republicans, cracks are beginning to show. We must vote as if our lives depend on it, because they do! Thank you!
I’d love to hear (from a trusted source) just HOW MUCH MONEY TRUMP HAS EVER GIVEN TO ANYONE- EVER! Then everyone can weigh up the odds of getting $5000 from the biggest grifter in American history! Is anyone seriously believing that they WILL get this money? A bottle of snake oil for the first 5000 Maga muttheads who provide facts! PROMISE!
