After spending most of today at his private club in West Palm Beach, Florida, the president of the United States posted on his personal social media platform, Truth Social, at 4:36 this afternoon to share his perverted reasoning for refusing to implement sanctions on Russia. In the long and drawn-out post, he declared that because “Russia is doing very little” to help Iran compared to what it could be doing, he had decided to waive the new sanctions against the country led by his good friend, Vladimir Putin, even over the objections of our allies around the world and overwhelming amounts of criticism back here at home. He added that he wanted to keep Russia from doing any more to help Iran, writing, “I want to keep it that way, and will, unless stupid people get in the way.”
Saying he's being played is giving him far too much credit. I think he knows exactly what he's doing, and for whatever reason, it serves his interests.
When Congress flips, I hope we see a whole series of investigations into what I consider treasonous conduct, and more importantly, what he stood to gain from it.
But for now, I don't buy the idea that he's being manipulated. I think he understands exactly what he's doing and why.
He LIKES the most horrible people because HE, himself I think is the most horrible person the US has ever produced, bar none!! Worse than any serial killer because he has caused, and continues to cause the deaths of millions of innocent people all over the world, and has a thinly veiled excuse every time. He has no regard for human life, other than his own.
No matter how he tries to whitewash what he's done, he is and always will be a TRAITOR. When Neville Chamberlain caved to the Nazis, he thought he was doing the best thing. The convicted felon is no Chamberlain. He knows he's committing another act of treason. Yet there is little outcry.
I remember the 1990s too. I am older than you are, so I was a mid-30s to 40-year-old mom of 3. I was also in college part-time. Life was very different then, although the Republican machinations were well underway behind the scenes. I've always been active in a cause, so I remember picketing and protesting for the Clinton health plan. Otherwise, our family lived comfortably in our little townhome in Maryland.

I don’t think Trump wrote the post at 4.36. It’s too well-constructed, with sensible punctuation. Whether that’s proof that he’s being played, I couldn’t say. In the end, it probably makes no difference. PLEASE, America, go and vote to overturn this monster’s regime.
