At 9:10 this morning, after spending the entire weekend hiding inside his Bedminster golf club, avoiding the waiting press and their cameras, Donald Trump posted his first social media post of the day. By 10:35 this evening, he had posted more than 60 times, with each share more concerning than the last. The posts became so disturbing at times that many began openly questioning if the president of the United States was having a mental health crisis, with some of his fellow MAGA Republicans even ridiculing him back.
The president's delusional posts spanned from him appearing to have attacked Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney while the two were playing hockey, with Trump standing above him and yelling at Carney to "GET UP, GOVERNOR," to a post of Trump changing the name of New Mexico to New America. There was a fake image of Trump day trading from the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, showing him making "Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks," and even one of him pretending to command Space Force from a space station while he detonated huge nuclear fireball explosions across the Earth's surface below.
So far as commenting on this post goes I’m probably the most least significant person, a pensioner who’s been in this state longer than I worked and is sitting on the sidelines of history as all this lunacy goes on. But what really brought me down earth yesterday was when we drove drove past the gas station we saw a horrendous price rise and my wife remarked, we might have to limit our drives into the countryside to walk our dogs. Until now like many people in the UK, I’ve thought it a minor form of entertainment to watch the videos on YouTube commenting on your presidents antics. But this is the first time I felt the situation in America has impacted my family. I know the people reading this comment are good men and women and true so please could you do something about the situation and if it’s okay by you, I’d prefer it to be sooner rather than later.
I am So appreciative of people from other nations who understand that many of us hate this man even more than many of you do. Presently my wife and I are embarking overseas for a.vacation we have long dreamt about and I'm embarrassed to be going as a U.S. citizen. Thank you for your kindness and hopefully good people like us will restore our harmonious friendships in the future.

We have a quisling government here in Australia, and I am alarmed at their grovelling servitude to the most unhinged leader we've seen for a very long time. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was the guest on Ted Cruz’s podcast this weekend. Look it up if you have the stomach for it. I am sure this was to push Cruz’s new book on Clarence Thomas that just came out a few weeks back.
Thomas opened with thanking Ted Cruz for showing his support for him and his wife, Ginny, while they were being “attacked” by the public left writ large after the January Sixth insurrection. What wasn’t mentioned during this kiss-kiss session was that Ginny posted effusively after Trump lost the 2020 election, rallying Trumps troops with a memorable war cry moment to “Release the Kraken.” She funded buses to get followers to be able to attend the January Sixth event on the National Mall, and spewed all sorts of calls to action in advance to stand up for the rightful winner of the election, Donald Trump, and protest the ‘rigged election results.’
Thomas refused to recuse himself from January Sixth conversations and decisions, as did Samuel Alito, whose wife hung an American flag upside down at their second home as a sign of distress after Trump lost the election. These actions alone show the arrogance and disdain they have for a common practice that judges recuse themselves if they have a personal tie to the subject matter.
Another of the bigger claims to fame of this court is ruling that the president has immunity while in office and basically supporting every shadow docket request that passes their desks from Trump’s personal head of the DOJ.
The current Supreme Court bench includes a motley crew of six judges, three Trump appointed, that continue to pay mindless homage to a corrupt, lawless president and his twisted ideals. A court led by a dyed in the wool Absolutist, Chief Justice John Roberts, who is not an Institutionalist no matter how often he has identified himself as such. Actions speak louder than multi-syllable legalese. Roberts clearly sees the presidency as a monarchy, overseeing a Captured Court run by an elite group of wealthy donors. Democracy be damned.
To have the Supreme Court entertain endless lawsuits that didn’t go Trump’s way after the insurrection is nothing more than appeasing toddler Trump’s tantrums and yet extremely dangerous. The most recent, multiple requests to end mail-in voting shines a bright light on how far the DOJ will thumb its collective nose at our constitutional rights and that the Supreme Court may go along and upend this right is scarily real. For the Court to even consider approving a select group to decide who is worthy to vote, while disenfranchising large swaths of citizens, is insane for lack of a better word. Requested by a president that uses mail-in voting. I do not need a law degree to know elections are handled by each state independently, not the executive branch, nor the USPS, who has one, big and important job, to pick up and deliver mail.
With all of the hysteria and mayhem emanating from Trump and his clown car administration it is hard to keep up. That is why I look forward to Heather’s articles every day and her ability to share moments we may have missed and bring forward the issues that are important to us individually and as a nation.

The more we are able to shed light on the court’s disregard for the American people to serve a demented old man, the better we will be.
