The most powerful man in the world is unwell.
On December 9, 2025, at 9:11 PM, the President of the United States took to his personal propaganda site, Truth Social, and posted 488 words that read like the manifesto of a man clinging to power through physical or cognitive decline, rewriting his own history, and warning the world that anyone who dares to say anything negative about him or question his ability to lead should face punishment. It goes even deeper because it can be read as a call to action for his cult like following.
He posted: “There has never been a President that has worked as hard as me! My hours are the longest, and my results are among the best. I’ve stopped Eight Wars, saving many millions of lives in the process, created the Greatest Economy in the History of our Country, brought Business back into the United States at levels never seen before, rebuilt our Military, created the Largest Tax Cuts and Regulation Cuts, EVER, closed our open and very dangerous Southern Border, when previous Administrations were unable to do so, and created an “aura” around the United States of America that has led every Country in the World to respect us more than ever before. In addition to all of that, I go out of my way to do long, thorough, and very boring Medical Examinations at the Great Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, seen and supervised by top doctors, all of whom have given me PERFECT Marks — Some have even said they have never seen such Strong Results. I do these Tests because I owe it to our Country. In addition to the Medical, I have done something that no other President has done, on three separate occasions, the last one being recently, by taking what is known as a Cognitive Examination, something which few people would be able to do very well, including those working at The New York Times, and I ACED all three of them in front of large numbers of doctors and experts, most of whom I do not know. I have been told that few people have been able to “ace” this Examination and, in fact, most do very poorly, which is why many other Presidents have decided not to take it at all. Despite all of this, the time and work involved, The New York Times, and some others, like to pretend that I am “slowing up,” am maybe not as sharp as I once was, or am in poor physical health, knowing that it is not true, and knowing that I work very hard, probably harder than I have ever worked before. I will know when I am “slowing up,” but it’s not now! After all of the work I have done with Medical Exams, Cognitive Exams, and everything else, I actually believe it’s seditious, perhaps even treasonous, for The New York Times, and others, to consistently do FAKE reports in order to libel and demean “THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.” They are true Enemies of the People, and we should do something about it. They have inaccurately reported on all of my Election Results and, in fact, were forced to apologize on much of what they wrote. The best thing that could happen to this Country would be if The New York Times would cease publication because they are a horrible, biased, and untruthful “source” of information. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
And the most dangerous part? He’s not the only one using words to incite. In an interview that aired last night, far-right white nationalist Nick Fuentes, a 27-year-old with a Mexican grandparent, looked Piers Morgan in the eye and said Adolf Hitler was, and I quote, “f***ing cool. It’s just cool. The uniforms. The parades. It’s cool. As a guy, you look at World War II, and it’s fascinating.” He said it proudly. Normally, I wouldn’t even give someone like Nick Fuentes the platform of my attention. Because repeating their words can feed the fire. But we can’t afford to look away anymore. These aren’t fringe voices shouting into the void; they’re shaping the worldview of millions of young men. They’re molding a generation’s moral compass with propaganda and desensitizing them to fascism until it feels normal.
This isn’t just about one man praising one of the darkest times in modern society or speaking such hateful words out loud. It’s about what Trump’s America has unleashed. Every piece of this regime, from the coins he wants stamped with his face, to the ICE raids, to the economic cruelty, to the shadow government propping him up, shows us exactly what authoritarianism looks like when it believes no one can stop it. And it’s built on the very kind of admiration Fuentes just said out loud.
But this kind of rhetoric doesn’t just damage us here at home. The same way Fuentes is trying to corrupt young minds with admiration for fascism, Trump is using that same kind of manipulation, that same weaponized language, to reshape the world outside our borders. His words aren’t just stirring chaos here. They’re being used to justify pressure campaigns, strong-arm diplomacy, and the slow erosion of democratic norms abroad.
Sitting face-to-face in the White House yesterday, Trump gave an extensive interview to Politico’s Dasha Burns, and once again used his words not to lead, but to manipulate. During the interview, the President, a convicted felon, told Ukraine how to run its elections while openly flirting with a leadership change in a war that he and Vladimir Putin both want to end on their terms. “It’s time… they’re using war not to hold an election,” Trump said. “I think the Ukrainian people would— should have that choice.”
That pressure ignores reality. Under Ukraine’s martial-law framework, wartime elections are constitutionally prohibited because war brings danger, displacement, and instability. Despite Trump’s framing, a vote under current conditions would be logistically dangerous, deeply unfair, and a gift to the aggressor. But Trump isn’t trying to protect democracy. He’s trying to weaken it.
Zelenskyy, for his part, turned the tables. Speaking to reporters from his plane after meetings with the Italian Prime Minister and Pope Leo XIV, he said, “I am ready for the elections… Not only that, I am asking, and I am now declaring this openly, the United States of America to help me, together with our European colleagues, to ensure security for the elections.” This is how you handle Trump: by holding up truth in the face of his manipulation.
At the same time, his newly released 2025 National Security Strategy declares the Western Hemisphere America’s sphere of influence, a modern echo of the Monroe Doctrine dressed in the language of domination. The document warns of “civilizational erasure” in Europe and outlines a regional agenda that centers U.S. military and political control. Already, we’ve seen targeted strikes on suspected narcotics boats in the Caribbean, and not-so-subtle hints that he’s considering further action in Mexico and Venezuela, including talk of regime change against Nicolás Maduro.
This isn’t foreign policy. It’s empire-building under the cover of crisis. The coin-printing, the missile threats, the election meddling, it’s all part of one bigger picture. Trump isn’t just trying to seize power. He’s trying to make it permanent. Not just here. Everywhere.
Earlier today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe held a classified briefing for Congress’ “Gang of Eight”, a select group of top congressional leaders from both parties who are regularly given access to the nation’s most sensitive intelligence. This group includes the heads of both parties in the House and Senate, as well as the chairs and ranking members of the intelligence committees in each chamber.
The meeting focused on the administration’s expanding military campaign against suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers. But according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Democrats left the briefing frustrated and alarmed. “We didn’t get real answers,” Schumer said, adding that the administration’s responses were vague, evasive, and raised more questions than they resolved.
Just hours earlier, in that same interview with Politico’s Dasha Burns, Trump openly confirmed he’s considering expanding anti-drug strikes beyond Venezuela into Mexico and Colombia. When asked directly whether he would launch strikes in those countries, Trump responded, “Sure, I would.” He also hinted at possible ground operations in Venezuela, signaling a major escalation and a dangerous return to Cold War-style interventions across Latin America, all under the familiar cover of “fighting drugs.”
Just like the newly released National Security Strategy laid out, we don’t have to look that deeply to see that this isn’t really about drugs. It’s about dominance. Going to war hands Trump wartime powers, the same ones he says Zelenskyy shouldn’t have. It gives him cover to install loyalists to lead foreign nations, to seize access to oil and other natural resources. This isn’t foreign policy. It’s just the next chapter in the authoritarian playbook.
Meanwhile, GoFundMe’s Year-End Report, released today, shows just how much our economy is breaking beneath people’s feet. There’s been a 20% rise in fundraisers for the most basic essentials, food, housing, and medical care, just to stay afloat. As PBS reported, Martin Lukk, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto who studies economic inequality, called it a kind of desperation barometer. “When there’s no other net to catch people, I think GoFundMe is where they often end up,” he said. And he’s right. People are turning to strangers online for survival because the system that was supposed to protect them has crumbled under Trump’s rule.
And as reported by The Independent today, we need to brace ourselves for the midterms. Susie Wiles, Trump’s top advisor and the architect behind his 2016 and 2024 campaigns, says Trump is going to campaign in 2026 “like it’s 2024.” In a pre-taped episode of The Mom VIEW, a YouTube show run by the conservative group Moms for America, Wiles said, “I haven’t quite broken it to him yet, but he’s going to campaign like it’s 2024 again.” She made it clear this wasn’t just her opinion. It’s their plan.
Wiles argued that when Trump endorses a candidate, or is simply on the ballot, turnout shifts dramatically. And she blamed Democratic wins in local elections on his absence. “Typically, in the midterms, it’s not about who’s sitting at the White House; you localize the election. And you keep the federal officials out of it. We’re actually going to turn that on its head and put him on the ballot,” she said.
And that should worry everyone. Because even with all the signs of physical and cognitive decline, the slurred words, the wandering, the sleeping through meetings, they’re preparing to wheel him out again. Because he doesn’t need to lead. He just needs to perform. The real decisions are being made behind the scenes, by people like Wiles, like Stephen Miller, like the entire Project 2025 team. Trump is a vessel. And the people pulling the strings know the window is closing. So they are running, not walking, toward permanence. Toward power that can’t be undone.
Today, Senators Jeff Merkley and Catherine Cortez Masto introduced legislation to block the U.S. Treasury from putting Donald Trump’s face on a new commemorative coin. As reported by The Hill, the bill, called the Change Corruption Act, would bar the likeness of any living or sitting president from appearing on U.S. currency. It’s backed by Senators Ron Wyden and Richard Blumenthal and comes in direct response to the Treasury’s reported plan to issue a $1 coin featuring Trump for America’s 250th anniversary.
The language is clear: “No United States currency may feature the likeness of a living or sitting President.” And while this might sound like a new fight, it’s actually a very old line being redrawn. Back in 1866, Congress passed a law to prevent living leaders from putting themselves on money, a safeguard against the kind of leader-worship that defines monarchies and authoritarian states. It was a clear boundary: no kings, no idols, no cults of personality. Only the dead were allowed to be honored, because the living could still abuse power.
And while the law has usually been interpreted to include coins, Congress has occasionally carved out exceptions for commemoratives. The Trump coin would test that norm in a way not seen with a sitting president in modern times.
I know today threw a lot of chaos our way, and it’s going to get worse. But Susie Wiles is proof that the Trump Regime knows they’re in trouble. That’s why they’re gearing up to parade Trump around like it’s 2024 again. We should take that as a sign. The tides are turning. And we have to keep pushing until the midterms.
I have full faith that we’re going to outwork them, outnumber them, and outlast them.
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Heather

Hey Sleepy Don…what universe do you live in? The cognitive decline, rambling speech snd physical impairment are on full display for the rest of ius. Go ahead and run around the country campaigning. It will wear you out that much faster!
He is a sick and dangerous man trying to consolidate power before the midterms. And it goes well beyond Trump to include Supreme Court, Heritage Foundation, Tech Oligarchs, Evangelicals, Fox and the right wing media and more. Their goal is to establish an authoritarian, hierarchical state led by white men with all other groups subservient. They know they have to get this done before midterm elections check their power. We are in the most dangerous time now, that will only get worse leading up until the elections. They are going to throw everything at us to accomplish their goal before we defeat them.
