The losses are piling up for Trump, and he's absolutely furious
After a day of court losses piling up one after another, the President of the United States broke. He opened Truth Social and declared himself America’s “favorite President,” attacked a federal judge, and then announced that if he wasn’t given complete control, “I have no interest in continuing what could only be a hopeless journey into NEVER NEVER LAND.” On what would have been John F. Kennedy’s birthday, a federal judge ruled that adding Trump’s name to the Kennedy Center was unlawful and ordered it removed within fourteen days.
And the Kennedy Center was only the first loss of the day. In Virginia, a federal judge froze his $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization” fund, the taxpayer money set aside to pay people who claim they were politically targeted, including potentially the January 6th rioters. Two officers who defended the Capitol that day had sued to stop it. And in Miami, a third judge reopened the IRS case that created the fund in the first place, to investigate whether the whole thing was, in her words, “a product of collusion” and “a fraud on the court.” She acted after thirty-five former federal judges, appointed by presidents of both parties, asked her to. Trump was the plaintiff suing the IRS while also running the branch of government the IRS answers to. He was on both sides of the table at once.
Three judges, in three courtrooms, on the same day, looked at the most powerful man in the country and told him no. None of these is a final victory. The fund could still go through. The cases could be argued for months. But what we needed today was time, and that is exactly what we got. Authoritarian movements run on speed, counting on us being too slow or too tired to catch up. Every delay is the gears catching and the clock running toward the midterms. The courts are holding. His loudest enablers are going quiet.

We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.

“I have no interest in continuing a journey… Neverland…” What the hell? Is he going to quit? (Please, oh PLEASE! 🙏🙏🙏) Such an infantile man. Pathetic.
This is looking promising. Thankyou, Heather.
