I worry seriously that he will start a world war. Remember when he said (to Zelenskiy, I believe) that "so you don't have to have elections when there is a war?" (paraphrased)... We cannot ignore the things he says out loud! And now that he has admitted that "peace is not as important" (paraphrased again) because Norway did not give him the Nobel Peace Prize, the president of "no new wars" may be dead serious about a new war to further his authoritarian wet dreams.
I cannot understand why one psychopath madman is being allowed to wreck America and the world order. All the elected officials in the U.S. and the world doing nothing as he plunges the world into darkness. It is left to the American people, like the resisters in Minneapolis to fight on their own, with no weapons, just whistles and each other. Every day he accelerates as the world watches and the media reports breathlessly on his every word as though he is some wise man come down from the mountaintops. A collective failure leading to catastrophe. And most shrug and carry on, pretending this is not happening. I want to scream but even my own family thinks I am overreacting to it all. This is a nightmare.
Same. My grown kids all say that it has been like this for decades. They basically grew up under Trump and do not see the escalation as anything notable. So frustrating!
