Is this the end of Trump’s Presidency?
“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” -President Donald Trump
This is how the President of the United States is spending his Friday night. He posts nonsense online instead of leading our country. And the rest of us are being held hostage by this circus. Our futures, our rights, our peace of mind, all are caught in the crossfire of Trump’s narcissism and the MAGA delusions. For us, it is just another day living under what feels more and more like authoritarian rule.
We are watching the collapse of everything the United States used to stand for. Most nights, I know exactly what I want to write about. Tonight was no different. I had a full post ready about the deep corruption and money-making schemes inside this administration, with members of Congress and Kristi Noem right in the middle of it.
It should be a national scandal. But then Trump went off the deep end again. I had to throw the whole thing out and start over.
I do not even know what to say anymore when this happens. I hold my breath during his rants and brace myself for that sick feeling to wash over me. How is this our reality? How can anyone still support him? And so tonight, much like I have said before, there is something deeply broken here, and we all know it. I keep looking for the right word to describe it. Corrupt, incompetent, criminal? None of those feel quite big enough for what is happening.
And how do you stay grounded when the president, the man in the most powerful seat in the world, is online calling Epstein’s trafficking crimes a hoax, pretending he runs 200 countries, and downright lying to the American people?
And what is really causing his latest meltdown is quite simple. Tonight, the Epstein files are causing a full-blown fracture in the Republican Party and the MAGA movement. It is coming to a head, so Trump is having another public breakdown on Trash Social.
Even Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has spent years pushing conspiracy after conspiracy, is suddenly his enemy. I am not about to celebrate her or trust her, but there is a grim satisfaction in watching Trump’s most loyal attack dogs finally turn on him.
This is the President of the United States. We are watching one of the most humiliating, unhinged, and dangerous meltdowns in modern political history. His involvement and subsequent coverup of the Epstein sex trafficking crimes will be the biggest scandal we have ever seen from an American leader. I cannot even imagine what the rest of the world must be thinking right now.
And at the head of all of this is that our government is in the middle of a hostile takeover. Yes, he was elected. Yes, he used the system to get power. That does not make this any less of a takeover. It just makes it more dangerous. History is full of leaders who won power legally, only to turn the machinery of government against their own people once they got there.
Hitler was elected chancellor. Viktor Orbán in Hungary was elected. So was Erdogan in Turkey. Mussolini was appointed prime minister through legal means. They all took their oaths, promised to serve, and then slowly bent the law to their will, gutting the courts, attacking the press, and filling every corner of government with loyalists and cronies.
They did not come in waving a flag of revolution. They came in through the front door, then tore down every guardrail, rule, and protection meant to keep democracy safe. That is exactly what Trump is doing right now, and as he does it, he shows everyone just how fragile our system really is.
And here is something we all need to be alert for: when authoritarians start to lose their grip, they look for a crisis, real or manufactured, to justify grabbing more power. Hitler had the Reichstag Fire, using it as the excuse for the Enabling Act, which wiped out the last checks on his rule. Do not think it cannot happen here. When Trump gets desperate, we should all watch for the moment he tries something like this, creating chaos, sparking panic, and then demanding more control. And if I had to look around in this moment, I would look straight at Venezuela where he has already sent an aircraft carrier. It’s the perfect place for his evil plan because Venezuela won’t be able to protect itself or fight back in any equally measurable way.
Unlike past fascist regimes though, Trump comes with baggage that some might be unable to ignore much longer. Now that he won’t be able to deny his part in one of the biggest sex trafficking scandals in history, maybe we have an opportunity to escape the worst-case scenario as a country?
Trump’s name shows up more than a thousand times in the Epstein files. And I think for us regular folks, it’s hard to imagine just how evil his part in this could be. Most of us are not billionaires. We do not bury our ex-wives on golf courses for tax breaks. We do not pay people off. We do not make evidence disappear. We have built our families on trust and decency, the exact opposite of Trump and his cronies. We know we and our partners are not in the Epstein Files. When I see what is being revealed about the rich and powerful, I feel sick. And it begs the question, wouldn’t a good man, an innocent man, demand the files be released to clear his name? Trump sure isn’t. He is doing the opposite.
Democracies do not collapse in one blow. They erode from the inside. That is the warning flashing in front of us right now. Our legal system is being twisted. Political division is at an all-time high. Too many leaders care more about holding onto their power than preserving the country.
Let’s be real. He is not going to resign, no matter what comes out. That’s not who he is. He would burn the whole country down before he ever admitted fault or stepped aside. If you are waiting for him to do the right thing, stop waiting. He never will.
Impeachment won’t save us either. We have seen how that goes, nowhere. If we want to protect ourselves from MAGA, Project 2025, and the Heritage Foundation, we need to use what the Constitution actually gives us for this kind of crisis: Article II, Section 4. That is the real way to remove a president who is a danger to the country.
If Trump is pushed out, JD Vance would love to take his place, with Mike Johnson right behind him. Maybe that was the plan all along. Maybe Project 2025 wanted Trump to win just so they could swap in their own people once he fell apart. But do we really think Vance and Johnson are any better? At least they understand what they are doing, which actually makes them more dangerous. And MAGA is not going to just roll over for anyone who is not Trump. This has never been about policy or the party, it is about loyalty to one man.
The MAGA base is a cult now. They reject facts, see cruelty as strength, and attack anyone who questions Trump, even their own. If you are still MAGA after all this, I would not trust you near my child. You are not just supporting a politician. You are supporting a cult, and I want nothing to do with it.
Even as things fall apart, the danger is not gone.
Sometimes I let my mind drift to different scenarios that could save us. Maybe there’s a sudden moment of clarity in the GOP. Maybe someone finally steps up and does the right thing, or some legal process actually removes him from office. But honestly, all of those are pretty unlikely. The most realistic way forward is that Democrats take back Congress in the midterms and hold the line as best they can. That is what gives us a fighting chance to stop the worst and start fixing what has been broken.
But we are not powerless. We get to decide what kind of country this will be. We might feel like hostages right now, but we do not have to stay that way. History is watching, and so are our kids.
If you feel overwhelmed, remember this: yes, this administration is corrupt, but hope is not lost. There are still Americans, civil servants, voters, whistleblowers, neighbors, doing the right thing every day and standing up for democracy. They need us to do the same.
As long as people are willing to fight for the truth, there is hope for something better.
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Heather

The endgame has arrived. The fever has broken and Trump and his regime are collapsing from their lies, corruption, cruelty, incompetence and massive overreach. Things are moving fast now. He is unraveling and his sycophantic rats are planning their exits (suddenly sweet, innocent Marjorie an example). We are in a dangerous time as they feel the walls closing in and lash out, but they are finished. The American pendulum of history has begun its turn back to democracy and will sweep Trump, Trumpism and the oligarchs into the dustbin of history. It’s finally happening.
Well said, Ms. Reese. We need to be strong in our resistance and in our support of the Constitution.
