Heather, thank you so much for not only your words, which mean a great deal to so many of us, but also for having the courage to put your words out into the public. I look forward to reading them every night. Along with a select few others, you help inspire me to show up, speak up, and take action. I was just in Chicago for the ICE protest last Saturday, then in D.C. for the Free America Walkout and to visit my Senators’ offices. I’ve been to D.C. six times in eight months. YOU help give me the hope I need to keep this up. Even if you were to never leave your house, please know that you are having an impact. I am showing up, I’m sharing your message, and I’m doing everything I can to support the organizations and individuals on the front lines and to prod others into action. Thank you. You deserve a medal infinitely more than that imbecile in the White House!

Wow Heather - what a powerful post - I’m glad it was only a neighbor’s trash cans - sheesh.

I’m right there with you in feeling we’re in uncharted territory now.

And the fact that the media is complicit in spreading the poisonous propaganda and so many people are still consuming it and believing it is even more frightening.

Your courage is to be commended and I’m am proud to support you.

We are still sane out here but yes, we need to collectively take a page from Minnesota and amplify our push-back and outrage loud enough that congress realizes they cannot continue to hide in their silence.

Thank you for continuing to be the voice of sanity.
