With oversized gold-plated scissors, Donald Trump and two other men, their hands touching, cut through the ribbons together. The entire ceremony lasted less than three minutes, with Donald Trump yelling over the sound of helicopter engines roaring right behind him. Yet not a single word he said could be heard across the live video of the event because, in all of Donald Trump’s wisdom, he decided to ban members of the free press from the White House, and once again, the ramifications of his own actions caught up to him.
