For the second day in a row, the President of the United States has sequestered himself away from the cameras, remaining inside the relative safety of the White House. And after what he said today, we may finally understand why.
Earlier today, in an interview published by the New York Post, Donald Trump made it clear that he fears for his life, even telling the reporter, "I hope you'll miss me," with the author adding that Trump sounded "resigned to the reality that Tehran will never stop trying to off him."
The article became even more unsettling from there. Trump revealed that he has already "left instructions" should he be assassinated by Iran, making it clear there would be hell to pay. "I've been on their list for a long time. That's what we're dealing with," he said, before adding that if anything happened to him, the United States should "literally bomb them at levels that they've never seen before."
Im observing the chaos of the US from overseas and one thing I can’t reconcile is that if Trump is as mentally incapable as you suggest in your many posts ( and as he increasingly appears) who is actually pulling the strings to coordinate these many actions to undermine the midterms and future elections. The response needed to get America back on track seems to go well beyond just removing Trump and hoping it naturally corrects from there

Specifics were vague, the Times reported, about the circumstances of the pending criminal investigation, but objected strenuously to the harassment of investigative journalists whose work is protected under the First Amendment.

Today the earth reaches aphelion, our furthest distance from the sun. And I think how far we’ve moved from the most basic tenets of Christian belief. I have a 3yr old and an 11 year old as granddaughters. I would very much like them to have a future that didn't include that moldy, rotting orange 🍊 that occupies 1600 Pennsylvania Ave currently. I cannot, for the life of me, comprehend that other people cover for him. He was an asshole in NYC in the 80s and they hate him. Why can't we just get rid of him?
No one likes living with the constant threat of violence or death. Whether it be from a vicious dog or an abusive partner or parent. After threatening to annihilate the entire civilization of Iran, his assassination would only be justified. They won't only be dancing in the streets of Tehran.
