Today was a very strange and disturbing day for the President of the United States of America. In between golfing at his course in Virginia, Trump National Golf Club, and relaxing inside the White House, Donald Trump spent hour after hour on this Sunday afternoon posting bizarre and deeply disturbing content on social media. What he shared over the course of the day would have necessitated immediate intervention in any other presidency. They were that alarming. His increasingly erratic posts included pictures of him walking beside an alien, incoherent ramblings, increasingly unhinged displays of aggression, and even a fake image of a deceased President Biden floating in sewage. And as grotesque as that was, he also shared fake pictures of himself floating in a spaceship above the planet, launching nuclear weapons while large sections of the planet exploded beneath him.
I look forward to reading your post every night. I find it difficult to sleep, partly because I’m older now, and partly because I know that we are being led by an uncontrolled nutcase who governs through social media. That in itself is something nobody could even imagine several years ago. It’s also a cowards way of sharing information. Courage behind the curtain. I also go to bed at night and just pray that he will go away. I don’t care at this point how it happens, but just that it happens, along with his cronies. The lunatics are, in fact, running the asylum. I agree with everything you say. In a post a couple days ago I had indicated that I had shared your comments to my Republican friends, and wondered if they would respond in any way. They did not. I expected that and indicated it as such. I think it’s important that even if they don’t respond, they might be reading these commentaries from you. I will start sharing them every night with all of my Republican acquaintances and friends. I’m delighted that you can speak for me and I’m sure for others as well. Keep up the good fight. I know that you have people behind you who back you 100%.

The longer this farce of a presidency is allowed to go on, with none of the checks and balances we are supposed to have against an unstable president anywhere in evidence, the more we look like a failed state. Everyone pretending normalcy because admitting the truth is too frightening. What is it going to take for the powers that be to wake up and treat this like the emergency it is? To me, living in Canada, I feel like I’m living on the edge of a nightmare every day that I get the news about what the president is up to. I just can’t believe it how much power he has been given. We as citizens should propose that Congress set up a daily ( very large ) screen in which the comments and pictures that the President of the United States is generating are blown up for not only Congress but the whole world to see and to be seeing this together. I believe the person responsible for creating these horrendous images is a young woman named Natalie Harp. She follows Trump around like a puppy, printing out favorable stories for him to read. She probably has the skills to turn Trump’s fever dreams into reality. She should be banished from the White House immediately.
