At 4:42 PM yesterday, Air Force One touched down at Joint Base Andrews after the president’s events in Houston earlier in the day. Exactly 13 minutes later, Donald Trump stepped off the plane as reporters shouted questions from behind the rope line. He ignored most of them, but one caught his attention: Why wasn’t he going to New York for 9/11?
“Because I’m going to the Pentagon,” Trump shot back.
When a reporter followed up and asked why he couldn’t do both, Trump gave the same answer. “Because I’m going to the Pentagon.”
But that wasn’t the real reason Donald Trump was refusing to attend an event that honors the memory of those we lost on one of the most solemn days in our nation’s history.

I would love to see street polls , people with microphones outside a Walmart or Starbucks or Ralph's asking that question. Just gently forces the thought and the true answer. Non-partisan just curious.
Boy, Ms. Reese... you were "feelin' it" when you wrote this one - as well you should. What an F-ing stooge we have as our President. What he did relative to Venezuela is so far against the Constitution, I don't know if there's ever been a bigger violation of the oath he swore to "preserve, protect, and defend" it.
I'm beginning to think that the reason he wouldn't fly 20 miles to attend the 75th Anniversary of D-Day on the Normandy coast along with the heads of all the other Allied Nations was because he wasn't being allowed to speak and draw the attention to his narcissistic self.
Every day I wake up hoping to read a special obituary and feel a genuine sense of relief from the selfishness and stupidity resident in the most powerful man on the planet. Instead, I get things like a new name for Lake Ontario that no one in their right mind is going to use instead of the original name. To me, it feels like the United States of America is now a joke to the rest of the world. Who could respect a nation that would allow a leader like this to continue in office?

Our two were pure bred Chinese throne dogs. Whilst being their protector/mother for their 12 years of life, I loved bathing them and combing out their coats. Lots of work but always worth it.
Can someone please explain what has happened to the Maduro’s ? They were kidnapped out of Venezuela had a brief court appearance and then have since disappeared. I can only think of them in one of Donald’s concentration camps. Held without trial indefinitely ?
Oh and now he has stolen Venezuela’s oil with menaces - the only income the country has and you can bet at a hugely discounted rate. Can November come soon enough ???
