Glad to hear you've got Pete home again. It's always harrowing to have someone in hospital, no matter how much faith you have in the care provided. I hate hospitals, too many sick people. Plant based diets won't kill you, but the alternative will shorten the healthy years. I've been vego 43 years, vegan 7. So far so good.

Trumps glum appearance is a mystery. What on earth could make him so slumped? He doesn't care enough about anything to account for his miserable face.

Dear Heather, Thank you for continuing to update us across the globe on the disturbing things happening in your country which eventually impact all of us in one way or another. Keep strong, look after your family and know that we are hoping and praying that all the bad things your president is responsible for, will come to an end soon. Love from Oz.

Trump Doesn't

Pete Does.

My own take is there is no need for a strenuous, competitive lifestyle for older folk.

The body knows when you're doing it wrong, or badly.

Be aware .....

Moderate exercise and a very varied natural (NO UPF) diet to get the animal/plant carb, protein, fat and mineral chemistry balance right. (The Supplement Industry thrives on you pouring unnecessary pills down your throat.)

So who was the shadowy man with Trump?

And while ruminating on that, think work, play, food balances and wish Pete a speedy recovery.

Funny old world isn’t it? Our very nice prime minister is due to have a brief meeting with your very nutty president at the United Nations next week our free press is handling this as a very low-key event which is a polite way of saying it’s probably going to be a shit show. However, far more attention is being given to what Princess Diana‘s brother had to say about our kings response to news of her death. According to her brother the then Prince Charles seemed to be handing the news with a mixture of petulance and glee. Sensible people are paying scant attention to this story and are concentrating far more on the opening stages of our version of your TV show “dancing with the stars”. The general consensus being is that we have run out of stars apparently the real celebrities are now wanting a slot on traitors.

I am so glad your Pete is doing well. The fad diets just are not the way to go. I live in northern, rural Japan, fresh, non-factory farmed vegetables, seafood that is nearly still wiggling for sashimi, no salt shakers on restaurant tables, few American fast food or chain restaurants, even sweets have half the sugar as American forms. The average lifespan for women is 88 years. Keep up the good words.

Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery for your Pete, Heather. Sounds like he is on the mend and you have every reason to feel very optimistic for a great outcome.

Your understandable concern and emotionality highlights the difference between a normal, compassionate human being most of us are and the psychopathic madman POTUS is. He is increasingly functioning as the decompensating madman he is and as a cornered psychopath he is only going to get worse. As even Republicans politicians are beginning,( finally), to back off from their total capitulation to Trump, hopefully we might find the means to remove him from office if an emergency situation presents itself before the midterms. As our greatest national security threat, Trump’s power to destroy America, or the world order by initiating WWIII must be neutralized asap.
