Donald Trump is the problem but far far worse are the people around him not holding him back from his ridiculous announcements. A survey should be done in the senate as to whether their children and grandchildren have had their childhood vaccinations - I bet it’s full house. This edict is for the little people and it is total rubbish. Take away the measles vaccine and you have children catching the disease and at Risk of becoming deaf or blind from catching it. You also put pregnant women at huge risk of damage to their unborn child if the mother catches the disease. Mess with MMR vaccine and you treble the likelihood of serious illnesses become a routine problem in young children.

Autism is far more likely to be caused by the obesity and pesticides, all problems with food full of ultra processed foods and horrendous pesticides used on the food to keep the crops pest free.

Vote this man out he is so dangerous.

My anger knows no bounds! What have we Americans ever done to deserve this kind of cruelty and obfuscation from our elected representatives? The only guess I have is we took our eyes and ears and attention off the big picture. We thought we didn’t need to stay laser focused on the workings of government if we just read a newspaper now and then. We were wrong! So much of our current troubles were presaged by the personality of the current potus and the current republican leadership’s crazy policies. All of our troubles could have been guessed at if there had been even one truthful statement about trump’s power hunger and greed put forth by a republican voice loud enough to carry over the noise. I felt we were doomed to have him elected when I heard a 65 year old woman in Florida on NPR saying “I’ve never voted in my life but I’m registered now and voting for trump”, a week before 2016’s presidential election. I knew we were in trouble but I had no idea how deep the shit would grow. I’ve felt I’m living in bizarro world for a decade now. So, so sad. 😞

Vo Harris told us. Repeatedly. FOx News lied and distorted the news repeatedly. Too many people believed the lies. Too many people are racist, stupid, and hateful. I hope we can overcome and save our democracy.

I’ll drift off to sleep tonight with some sort of unhealthy satisfaction. It’s a fly on the wall, or rather the inside the secret airplane food supply container with Trump surrounded by secret service agents in a spy operation like Mission Impossible. Tom is there winking at Trump as they smirk with satisfaction over a brilliant subterfuge. I apologize to Mr. Cruise for bringing him into my dream, but I regain my composure when Cruise says “What the fuck are you doing here Mr. President? You know all this is fantasy, right?” The plane is attacked, blows up and there’s only one parachute as our hero waves falling backwards out the gaping hole in the burning fuselage, and the villain with impossible flaming new hair shouts and waves his fist… and there’s a large word in the outside of the parachute that reads “Democracy Forever “. Rotten Tomatoes records 100%. Best movie I have ever dreamed… especially when all the other flight crew found spare parachutes and quickly escaped, except for one screaming nut bar yelling “I won hundreds of Club Championships…I won hundreds of Club Championships”…and I fall asleep in peace for the first time in over ten years.

Felon is a coward using others as decoys.. The press and even those who have what pledged their undying loyalty to a walking, talking POS… You truly can’t fix stupid but at this point how low is the level of stupid who are in his regime? Are they not pissed off knowing he used them like a stinking clay pigeon in skeet shooting… do they not hear him actually calling out loudly the word “PULL” knowing the gunfire shot is just seconds away … Guess Kegsbreath sighed a little relief he wasn’t sent to the decoy plane… musta been his lucky day..

For the vaccines… school will be in session soon and once again a complete Petri dish of bacteria, viruses and contagions .. Maybe a quick presentation of children graves who perished before vaccines were ever discovered or invented should be shown at every teacher-parent conference. Suggest blowing up the headstone dates as to how long those children were alive so the wacko parents who even come close to listening to a Felon with no medical experience or degree and Half-brain-dead Kennedy Jr. who’s medical experience ranges from injecting heroine into his body and seemed to so enjoy snorting cocaine off of a toilet seat..

2017: I love this song

2026: I understand this song

This song is more relevant now than it was in 2017.

This song should be the anthem for midterms in November!!

Lyrics:

We are searchlights, we can see in the dark We are rockets, pointed up at the stars We are billions of beautiful hearts

And you sold us down the river too far

[Chorus]

What about us?

What about all the times you said you had the answers?

What about us?

What about all the broken happy ever afters?

What about us?

What about all the plans that ended in disaster?

What about love? What about trust?

What about us?

We are problems that want to be solved

We are children that need to be loved We were willin', we came when you called But man, you fooled us Enough is enough, oh

[Chorus]

What about us?

What about all the times you said you had the answers?

What about us?

What about all the broken happy ever afters?

Oh, what about us?

What about all the plans that ended in disaster?

Oh, what about love? What about trust?

What about us?

Sticks and stones, they may break these bones But then, I'll be ready, are you ready?

It's the start of us, waking up, come on Are you ready? I'll be ready

I don't want control, I want to let go Are you ready? I'll be ready

‘Cause now it's time to let them know

We are ready, what about us?

What about us?

What about all the times you said you had the answers?

So, what about us?

What about all the broken happy ever afters?

Oh, what about us?

What about all the plans that ended in disaster?

Oh, what about love? What about trust?

What about us?

Born, raised and living in Australia, apart from half a dozen years in Chicago and then West Germany, I have, until now, not subscribed, thinking HE is your (USA's) problem. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed the schadenfreude of your sly descriptions of his health struggles. I would be ashamed to say this of any of the other 8 billion but his wanton cruelty deserves my disdain. But enough is enough! I have subscribed! Keep up your great commentary and continue to indulge my schadenfreude with accurate descriptions of his behaviour

Heather, it's no surprise that the Dumpkof puts his own preservation first and allows his staff to face potential dsnger. Fortunately nothing happened but that's not the point. Well done to the NYT team for exposing Trump's duplicity. As for his statement about the vaccines, does this come from RFK's book of medical knowledge? Which is completely zero. Listen to the medical experts boys, they know a he'll of a lot about medicine than you do.

How many Americans will know about or care to know anything about both the aircraft subterfuge or the vaccine debacle? Just like every other stupid, ridiculous, and outrageous act by Trump and his minions we are left dumbfounded and angry but powerless. I feel like we’re in a tumble dryer every day and find it impossible to escape. Yes, elections matter. So does education, critical reading skills, active listening, scientific research, and on/off buttons. One of the most brilliant aspects of our Constitution is its laying out the basic parameters of presidential voting and elections. Especially the time between presidential elections. Just enough time to judge a person and the empowerment to switch out for another. It’s the years in between that test us, and the elected people. Trump and all who he has dragged into his schemes have

totally failed us. Maybe four year terms are too long.
