As he approached the bulletproof glass, he stepped around it, waved to the crowd, and then stepped inside the protected enclosure, clapping his hands with a dazed look in his eyes. As he stood there waiting for the music to end, his mouth tightened and stretched as he repeatedly struggled to catch his breath. As he began to speak, it became clear this was not a celebration of America's 250th birthday. It was the 2026 version of the Red Scare.

Voting is our real superpower. Every citizen has the right to vote. I will go as far as to declare that we have the RESPONSIBILITY to vote. Yet, far too many of the voters in this country don’t take advantage of the opportunity to make their voices heard.

The only reason he is capable of what he's doing is because the DNC and RNC have spent the past several decades ceding more and more power to the presidency, trusting that anyone who managed to secure the top seat would be trustworthy.
That's not what our Founders wanted. They knew anyone at the top could fall prey to corruption, and that's why we have a President, not a King. They built a system of checks and balances to ensure the President could not do this, and the Dems and GOP systematically dismantled them, as their infighting made it more and more difficult for Congress to get anything done in any other way. What is happening now was the inevitable end result; this would have happened with or without Trump.
Now that it's happening, it is our last chance to stand up and reclaim our country for ourselves. We must unite as one nation as we did 250 years ago, not as Democrats or as Republicans but as Americans.

I have a silver toy poodle named Vanity Fair..she is the light of my life and I will spend it with her watching the fabulous Disney 24 hour event celebrating this great and diverse welcoming nation and love every minute of it! Don’t mourn…rejoice we’re not bending to his bullshit.

Happy 4th of July! I’ve been in love with the USA for as long as I can remember. From the 78 rpm records of The Platters my dad used to play in the late Fifties, the movies from Elvis in the early Sixties, through what we now call classic rock in the Seventies. And later in my life, when I started travelling to the USA in the Nineties and beyond, both for business and leisure, my admiration for the beauty of America was only growing. In Trump’s first term it became rapidly clear to me that an America where so many people voted for Trump, was no longer my favorite place to be. In Europe people were laughing about Trump and were generally convinced it would not be a lasting situation. I never did that. The striking similarity between Germany in the Thirties and the USA became more apparent by the day. Many people felt I was exaggerating at the time and look at us now. Despite the failure of the traditional media to expose Trump for all that he is, there is a broad understanding on our side of the ocean, that America is now in fact an autocracy. And nobody seems to believe anymore that this situation will be reversed anytime soon. Even when Trump would disappear suddenly, simply because at his age and with his health one can expect that to happen, the men in the shadows with all their money and lust for power, will install a new puppet. I do not believe that the Midterms will offer the single solution everybody is hoping for. Never underestimate people with a lust for money who want to stay in power. Republicans, but yes, also many Democrats are wrong. Congress members and senators on both sides of the aisle have sold their souls to AIPAC. This has nothing to do with democracy any longer. I am happy to see that there is still some honor in politics in Europe. Not that we do not have our own problems, but at least more and more people speak out against the USA and it’s chief liar, with Spain, France and Italy leading the pack. The sucking up to Trump has to disappear, no more diplomatic silence. Let’s call it for what the USA now is: a corrupt autocracy without any respect for their citizens unless they are white and have a shitload of money. But never forget, there are many more of the good guys than the bad. But you have to stand your ground and fight for what you’re worth. Fight for your rights as laid down in the constitution. However I need to note that while I know you like all of our “Freedom Writers” as I call you, require and deserve funds in order to continue your good works, I am worried that where the first break for making an appeal is placed will have people thinking the piece is finished and will not read further. That’s what I saw at first glance, and I’m glad I know there’s a lot more to what the Imperial Dog has to promote and so I read on. Maybe a closer look at how your writing flows will help the layout people to better judgement next time.

In Europe people were laughing about Trump and were generally convinced it would not be a lasting situation. I never did that. The striking similarity between Germany in the Thirties and the USA became more apparent by the day. Many people felt I was exaggerating at the time and look at us now. Despite the failure of the traditional media to expose Trump for all that he is, there is a broad understanding on our side of the ocean, that America is now in fact an autocracy. And nobody seems to believe anymore that this situation will be reversed anytime soon. Even when Trump would disappear suddenly, simply because at his age and with his health one can expect that to happen, the men in the shadows with all their money and lust for power, will install a new puppet. I do not believe that the Midterms will offer the single solution everybody is hoping for. Never underestimate people with a lust for money who want to stay in power. Republicans, but yes, also many Democrats are wrong. Congress members and senators on both sides of the aisle have sold their souls to AIPAC. This has nothing to do with democracy any longer. I am happy to see that there is still some honor in politics in Europe. Not that we do not have our own problems, but at least more and more people speak out against the USA and it’s chief liar, with Spain, France and Italy leading the pack. The sucking up to Trump has to disappear, no more diplomatic silence. Let’s call it for what the USA now is: a corrupt autocracy without any respect for their citizens unless they are white and have a shitload of money. But never forget, there are many more of the good guys than the bad. But you have to stand your ground and fight for what you’re worth. Fight for your rights as laid down in the constitution. For today but especially for the future generations. No time for complacency.

Heather, I applaud the beauty and the truth of your writing about Our 250 Years, according to history, not to Trump. However I need to note that while I know you like all of our “Freedom Writers” as I call you, require and deserve funds in order to continue your good works, I am worried that where the first break for making an appeal is placed will have people thinking the piece is finished and will not read further. That’s what I saw at first glance, and I’m glad I know there’s a lot more to what the Imperial Dog has to promote and so I read on. Maybe a closer look at how your writing flows will help the layout people to better judgement next time.

So after reading this I've decided to freeze my burgers and dogs . I'm ordering dishes from every one of 47s self described shit hole countries and we will be having a smorgasbord of food from my immigrant owned local restaurants . It will be eaten by all of us , the patriotic immigrants , and we will celebrate our diverse country .
