Those who are old enough to remember the photo of Mary Anne Vecchio from the Kent State massacre will be feeling the same revulsion and sickness when viewing the video of the assassination of Ms. Good. It may be blasphemous to have this be the trigger that finally lifts the veil from American eyes and exposes these lawless thugs for the criminals that they are.

The instinct is to scream and strike out, to make them pay and feel our anguish and pain at least as heavily. But that would play into their game plan and provide the pseudo justification for even heavier crackdowns and more unjustified killing by these cowards who have not got the courage to do this without hiding behind a mask.

The reaction needs to be massive PEACEFUL protests in as many locations as possible. And while our hearts are grieving for an orphaned child, we must show our LOVE for each other and draw joy from our commitment to NEVER BACK DOWN from cowards with guns. Remember to emphasize the JOY, even when it is so hard to find it, because they have no way to deal with that, and it really pisses them off. And I will settle for pissing them off in the easiest way possible.

I don't know if the billionaires media outlets will allow the actual video to be seen, as it clearly shows the murderous actions of at least one ICE agent, and the further complicity in those that refused to allow competent medical assistance to be given to the victim.

We already knew that Ms. Noem had hired the worst of the worst, these actions just proved that. Her knee-jerk "justification" that so obviously consisted of outright lies shows that she is just as unfit for her role as the vicious and incompetent minions she has chosen to terrorize our cities.

If there is to be a turning point, young people have to get involved in massive, ongoing peaceful protests. That is what fueled the successful civil rights and peace movements of the 60s and 70s. So far, the protests against this regime have been a bunch of older people like myself. My adult children have sat it out, thinking it will accomplish nothing and also trying to preserve their mental health. Until younger people activate en masse, I don’t believe things will change in the face of the daily assaults on our country by Trump and the regime.

I sincerely hope that this is truly the turning point and that we the people will stand up and take back our country. I am devastated at the loss that her family and neighbors have suffered. Let’s do our part now, in memory and honor of Ms. Good.

I did all the emotional things you mentioned, cried, screamed at the screen, shook with rage. After that I told myself, no more. Although I marched in several events last year, this year is different, this year I do more. You are also right about him wanting to use violence against all of us. I believe he craves it and will use it to stop the mid term elections and continue to rip this country to shreds. As a nation we must peacefully rise up and insist on change.

He should have said, “Get the f*** out of the USA!”
