An embarrassing display of Presidential failure
On Easter Monday, the President of the United States started his day at the White House Easter Egg Roll, surrounded by children holding wooden spoons, and told the crowd, “We are obliterating their country and they just don’t want to say uncle.” He talked about his war to families who came to watch their kids roll eggs. He told children they could sell his autograph for “$25,000 on eBay.” And when asked what he would say to the 61% of Americans who oppose this war, he called them “foolish.”
Then he walked inside for a press conference and told reporters, “The entire country can be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night.” He revealed that he ordered a bridge destroyed as a negotiating tactic after a phone call with his son-in-law Jared Kushner, a private citizen with enormous financial interests in the Middle East. He used a slur twice to describe Biden, putting it in the mouth of Kim Jong-un. He threatened to jail a journalist for reporting on the war. He mimed aiming a sniper rifle at reporters in the briefing room, a moment the Associated Press photographed. And when asked about his mental health, he said, “You’re going to have to have more people like me.”
Pete Hegseth framed the rescue of a downed pilot as a biblical resurrection story. And Trump, asked directly whether this war is winding down or escalating, said, “I don’t know. I can’t tell.” Minutes later, Hegseth confirmed that the day’s strikes would be the largest since day one, and that the next day would be even larger. The man at the top of the chain of command either doesn’t know what’s happening or won’t say it out loud. Neither answer should let any of us sleep well at night.

We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.

God help us!! And the innocent people who are suffering and dying under his regime.
Am I the only one who heard Hegseth say “Straight up Vermouth” instead of Strait of Hormuz?
