Trump and Hegseth are mouth breathing insults to the military personnel who fought to free the world from the menace presented by the Axis countries.

This goes along with Trump’s comment that the heroes who are buried there were “suckers” and “losers”.

Heather, it's disgraceful that Hegseth used a solemn occasion like the 80th anniversary of D-day to make a speech about immigrants. He should be reminded that the US is a country of immigrants. He himself is of Norwegian ancestry; his boss is the grandson of a German immigrant on his father's side, and the son of a Scottish immigrant on his mother's side. Of course they were all white.

My Mom was an English girl who grew up under Hitler’s blitz. My Dad and all of his 7 brothers fought in WW2 in Europe and the Pacific. I do believe their heads would explode if they saw and heard what Six-pack Pete said in Normandy . I never thought I would ever be glad that they were dead and gone but this criminal regime has made me so. I long for the day I can wake up without a knot in my stomach. And that could be manifest in a number of ways. ( sigh )

The reaction here in the UK when we saw this was nothing but disgust. It is important that we remember the USA before this current regime and that we know that one day it will be back.

Wow. Thanks for doing the homework. I had forgotten about that Lindbergh thing. I used to think he was Jimmy Stewart.
