8 million people forced Trump into hiding
He couldn't face reality
On March 28th, 8 million people across the United States took to the streets while the President locked himself behind the gates of Mar-a-Lago and didn’t leave the grounds all day. More than 3,200 events took place in all 50 states. Nearly half were in Republican strongholds. Texas, Florida, and Ohio each had more than 100 events. Towns as small as Driggs, Idaho, population under 2,000, hosted their first political protests ever. The marches went international, with tens of thousands in Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Madrid, and London. Organizers are calling it the largest single day of domestic political protest in American history.
Trump skipped the Conservative Political Action Conference for the first time in a decade, and even that room was no longer safe. When CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp tried to rally the crowd by asking, “How many of you would like to see impeachment hearings?” they cheered. He shook his head and said, “No. That was the wrong answer.” He asked again. They cheered again. A 30-year-old Army and Marine Corps veteran from Texas who voted for Trump in every election since 2016 told reporters he feels betrayed. “Why aren’t we helping Americans?” he said. “The economy’s suffering. Why can’t we focus on our own people instead of foreign governments?”
The president who promised no new wars is one month into a war with Iran, with Cuba announced as the next target. The president who promised cheaper gas is watching prices climb to $3.98 a gallon, with oil up 40 percent from pre-war levels. The president who promised cheaper groceries presides over beef up 15 percent and coffee up 20 percent. The president who promised to release the Epstein files is suspiciously not releasing key documents. On the day 8 million Americans showed up to say they’ve had enough, he sat in his private club, promoted himself on Truth Social, attacked his enemies, and didn’t say a single word about the protests.

I’m sharing video versions of my nightly posts in addition to the written ones. We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better our chances of pushing back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.
Thank you for your continued support. Your paid subscriptions have enabled me to add a video editor and reach more people.
Independent journalism is under attack. You can make a difference with a $5/month paid subscription. Your support allows me to keep telling the truth about the lies and destruction unfolding in our country, defend myself from constant pressure from MAGA extremists, and ultimately spread the message to more people.
I’m fighting to save our country (before it’s too late).
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Heather

Congress could stop all of this fuckery. The fact that they don't makes them complicit.
“Too late” could be today or tomorrow. He is dangerous. Every civilized human being in the world knows that.
Why are we namby pamby, letting him go on????????? Showing the world we abide by our constitution while a non-abider is destroying it does not seem like the enlightened behavior we could be engaging in, in throwing the bum out.
